How NaviTrack II and Scout Work

Locating a Sonde

Old style locators detect "nulls" and "false peaks" which can cause costly mis-locates.

The NaviTrack II and Scout eliminate "nulls" and "false peaks" leading you to the target quickly and easily.

To perform a locate, simply power up the NaviTrack II or Scout and move towards the target by maximizing the signal.

Verify the location by converting to Map View with a push of a button.

Distinctive, on-screen, markers will indicate location of target.

Locating Energized Lines

Tracing underground utilities can be as easy as following a map. The solid line indicates that a buried utility cable is being tracked.

The advanced mapping displays in NaviTrack II and Scout will even show changes in line direction!
