Ridge Tool Company 2006 MicroRay IR-100 Promotion Official Rules and Regulations
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE CHANCE OF WINNING. ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.

1. To enter, you must complete an official sweepstakes entry form online at www.ridgid.com/microray before February 2, 2007. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for late, lost, misdirected, damaged, illegible or incomplete entries. No facsimile or mechanically reproduced entries allowed. Sponsor shall have the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes for any reason without prior notice or obligation to the entrants.

2. Prizes: Twelve (12) Grand Prize Winners will receive a RIDGID MicroRay IR-100 Non-Contact Thermometer. Estimated Retail Value: $129.25.

3. The Grand Prizes will be shipped within 4-6 weeks of selection of Winner. Winner is responsible for proper product use. Winner bears all risk of damage to Grand Prizes after it is awarded. All taxes, incidentals & other expenses associated with prize and not specified herein are the winner's sole responsibility. Prize is not transferable. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize or items included in prize with one of equal or greater value in the event prize is unavailable.

4. The winners for the Grand Prize drawings will be determined in a random drawing by the Sponsor on or about 3:00 pm ET on the following dates:

Sponsor's selections will be final in all matters relating to this sweepstakes. By entering, all entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these rules and the judges' decisions, which are final and binding in all matters. By participating in the sweepstakes, entrants waive any right to claim ambiguity in the sweepstakes or in these official rules. All prizes will be sent to the chosen winner without prior notification. Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes winner's consent to use of his/her name, likeness and biographical data for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation.

5. Sweepstakes is open to individuals who are legal U.S. residents of the 48 contiguous states, 21 years of age or older, except employees of Ridge Tool Company and its affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, sales representatives, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families of each. All federal, state and local laws apply. Void in Canada, Puerto Rico, and where prohibited.

6. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer prize for cash or to another party. Sponsor may substitute prize with prize of comparable value if listed prize becomes unavailable. All federal, state, and local taxes on prize are winner's sole responsibility. Failure to comply with rules may result in disqualification and award of prize to alternate winner.

7. By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotion agencies and respective directors and employees from any and all liability, loss, injury or damage of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the sweepstakes and the acceptance and use of the prize. Each entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and any judicial proceeding shall take place in a federal or state court within the State of Missouri, (2) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no circumstances, will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether the State of Missouri or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Missouri.
