  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Sweepstakes open only to legal residents of the 48 Contiguous United States and Canada (excluding the province of Quebec), who are 18 years of age or older as of July 8, 2005, and have a valid driver’s license. Employees, officers and directors of Techtronic Industries North America Inc., (the sponsor “TTI”), The Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. (“Home Depot”), Emerson Professional Tools and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, “Sponsor and its agents”) and immediate family members (spouses and siblings, children and parents and their spouses, regardless of where they live) or members of the same households (whether related or not) of such individuals are not eligible to enter or win. This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited or restricted. The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Techtronic Industries North America Inc., and is administered by Fulfillment Systems, Inc., an Independent Judging Organization.
  2. HOW TO ENTER: RIDGID® Ride Of A Lifetime Sweepstakes begins July 8, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2005. No purchase necessary. To enter, visit the nearest Home Depot® in your area, complete the official entry form during the entry period and deposit your completed entry in the sweepstakes ballot box or deliver to the Techtronic Industries representative on-site. You may also enter by hand printing on a 3“ x 5” card, your name, complete address, age, daytime phone number, e-mail (if available), company name and mail in an envelope to: RIDGID® Ride of a Lifetime Sweepstakes, PO Box 3409, Department A, St. Cloud, MN 56397-3409. Entries must be postmarked by September 30, 2005 and received by October 7, 2005 to be eligible. Limit of 25 entries per person, regardless of entry method. One entry per outer mailing envelope. No copies, facsimile, computer generated or mechanical reproductions will be accepted. Register online at www.ridgid.com or opt-in for entry when you sign up to register your tool or renew your Lifetime Service Agreement registration on qualifying RIDGID® tools. Qualifying tools include the complete line of RIDGID® Professional Power Tools and Pneumatic Nailers and Staplers only. Online entries will be accepted beginning at 12:01 AM CT on July 8, 2005 and ending at 11:59 PM CT on September 30, 2005.
  3. PRIZES: The Official Judging Agency will conduct a random drawing on or about October 10, 2005 from among all eligible entries received from all methods of entry. One (1) Grand Prize: a RIDGID® Custom Chopper manufactured by American IronHorse Motorcycles®. Taxes, insurance, license, and registration fees are the sole responsibility of the winner. Trip for (1) winner and (1) companion to The Ford 400 NASCAR Race at Homestead-Miami Speedway scheduled to take place on November 20, 2005 in Homestead, Florida. Trip includes 4 day/3 night accommodations consisting of round trip coach air transportation for winner and guest from the major commercial airport nearest winner’s residence to nearest major commercial airport to race, hotel accommodations (standard double occupancy room and room tax only), two tickets to the Ford 400 Race, and VIP Hospitality. Winner and guest must be available to travel on dates indicated by Sponsor so as to attend race on November 20, 2005; if winner is unable to travel at such time due to illness or other circumstances beyond winners’ control, there will be no substitution or additional consideration for this portion of the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winner and travel companion must travel on the same itinerary. Meals, gratuities and all other unspecified incidental expenses for this prize are the sole responsibility of winner. Total ARV of Grand Prize is: $44,000.00 USD; (1) First Prize of The Ultimate RIDGID® Professional Package (ARV: $4,755 USD); (5) Second Prizes will be awarded as Winner’s Choice of either; (1) Contractor’s Package (ARV: $2617 USD) or (1) Woodworker’s Tool Package (ARV: $2,679 USD); (50) Third Prizes will be awarded as RIDGID® 12 Volt Right Angle Impact Driver (ARV: $129.00 USD); (2,000) Fourth Prizes will be awarded as RIDGID® Gear (ARV: $16.00 USD); Total Approximate Retail Value of all prizes is: $100,600.00 USD. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received via all methods of entry. Prize winner(s) will be notified by mail and may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release or a publicity release (where legal) within 5 days of notification, and provide a copy of their valid driver’s license. If an individual cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to return a completed and fully executed Affidavit and Release by the deadline, as required, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Sponsor will provide grand prize delivery of motorcycle within the 48 contiguous United States or Canada. Allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery of all prizes from date of prize acceptance. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use the winner's name, biographical information and/or likeness for purposes of advertising, trade and promotion without further compensation. Selected entrants who are Canadian residents will be required to correctly answer without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by mail or telephone in order to win.
  4. CONDITIONS: By participating, entrants agree [a] to assume responsibility for all federal, state and local taxes or duties; [b] to assume responsibility of registration, titling and insurance of Grand Prize (RIDGID® Chopper) as required by applicable law;[c] consent to the capture and use of all identifying information contained on the official entry form for any and all marketing purposes by the Sponsor.[d] to these rules and decisions of Sponsor and judges, which shall be final in all respects relating to this sweepstakes.[e] to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor and its agents and each of their respective directors, officers, shareholders, agents and employees, and their heirs, successors and assigns (collectively, “Releasees”) from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from their participation in the sweepstakes or their acceptance, possession, transfer, use or misuse of a prize including, without limitation, personal injury, death and property damage.[f] if a winner, to release the use of name and/or photograph for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in all media worldwide without compensation (except where prohibited by law) and agree to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so. [g] Releasees are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (1) garbled, illegible, incomplete, damaged, misdirected, late, lost or failed electronic or mailed entries or postage due mail; (2) electronic, hardware or software program, network, internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties of any kind including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any materials in the Sweepstakes; (3) errors or delays in telephone/computer transmissions; (4) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor which may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (5) any losses or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance or use of the prize or from participation in the Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute as to ownership of an Internet entry, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to enter the Sweepstakes (at the actual time of entry) will be deemed to be the entrant. Authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization, which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Any attempted form of entry other than as specified herein is void. Use of any robotic, automated, macro, programmed or like automatic entry methods will void all entries made by using such methods. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate or suspend the Internet entry component of this sweepstakes should virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, systems malfunctions, failures, difficulties or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor and its agencies corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the Internet entry component of this Sweepstakes. In such event, winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible mail-in entries received and all eligible Internet entries made prior to and/or after (as appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Tampering with website or Sweepstakes in any way will result in disqualification and possible prosecution under applicable law. Prize is not transferable, and substitutions are not allowed except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute prize of equal or lesser value in the event that prize is unavailable for any reason.

MISCELLANEOUS CONDITIONS: When you participate in a survey or enter a contest or sweepstakes at a The Home Depot store, a The Home Depot sponsored event or through our Sites, we may collect your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. We use this information to administer your participation in a contest or sweepstakes. At the time you are entering a contest or sweepstakes, we may ask your permission to send you future marketing information from The Home Depot.
