The 460 Tristand is rated by pipe size (1/8" to 6" (3 mm to 150 mm)), not by a formal supported weight rating, and it is not intended for uses outside pipe fabrication and assembly. RIDGID does not make an extension to raise the TriStand pipe vise, so you should not rely on an aftermarket extension to increase working height. The TriStand folds for transport and storage, but you should not store it with a load supported off-center (for example, secured by the chain in an upper position) because the tool is not designed to maintain a displaced load.
