Rated 2 de 5 de par Rough Cuts This saw was very easy to set up. The problem with the saw is that it makes rough cuts, like little nicks in the surface of the tile. Also having problems when cutting 45's, the tips break off. I tried taping the tile were my cut was and tried feeding the tile slowly. Neither helped. This is not my first tile saw, but my first Ridgid. I am a Ridgid fan, but I cannot recommend this saw.

Rated 4 de 5 de par This product is simple to use This saw is easy to assemble and set up. I like having the option for a stand. The saw also has the great adjustable base to help you cut 45 and 22.5 degree angles. I wish it had a water hose hook up so you did not have to fill it up or worry about it.

Rated 2 de 5 de par Satisfied in function unhappy with design The product worked acceptably but the water spray coming off the blade comes right at the operator. If you push down the blade safty cover you can't see your marks on the the tile. Their is no place to fasten the wrenches for changing the blade or the spare parts for to the saw so they are stored with the saw and quickly available when needed. Portability is plus but all saws in this category would be the same. In the water basin the bottom has unecessary ridges which make it more difficult to clean. The combination of drain plug overflow part seems real cheesy. A plastic part with an o-ring? Wow. How about a normal rubber drain plug with a chain that keeps the little guy from getting lost or seperated from where it is needed? Would be wise to make the overflow hole into the basin itself. Not normally a complainer but after letting go of nearly $200 and using it my first time the above is my unsatisfied experience report. Impressed with simplicity but none of these design changes would make the saw more expensive.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Homeowner OK/Professional No Way The 7" Job-site Wet Tile Saw by Ridgid is a handy little get it done kind of saw for the homeowner but with a couple of issues. First, I used this to cut standard 12" porcelain tile. The cleanness of the cut varied. Sometimes the cut was passable; other times the cut was terrible. I've used other saws and gotten clean cuts every time. This saw has a tendency to leave a rough cut or a cut with the appearance of little nics. One would not want to buy this saw if the cuts were going to show. In my case, all the cuts were perimeter cuts and thus would be hidden by baseboard/shoe moulding. Second, while the fence works fine for standard rip cuts, the miter gauge does not work for 12" tiles. It is better suited to 6" or smaller tiles. If I had known these issues prior to purchasing, I would have opted to 1. investigate the purchase of a larger Ridgid tile saw, or 2. buy another brand of saw with a larger capacity. I suspect the larger Ridgid tile saws with the stationary blade and bearing guided tile bed would give better quality cuts. Despite my misgivings about purchasing this saw, I would recommend it for the average homeowner looking to do a couple of small bathroom, entry, or kitchen tile projects for personal use.

Rated 4 de 5 de par This has been a great tool for the jobs I've used it on. This saw has been great for the tile jobs I've used it on. I bought it when I did my very first ever tile job. It wasn't the most expensive or the cheapest tool available, but for the money, it has been great. Very durable, easy to transport, and does what I need it to do. I'm glad I own it, and would recommend it to whoever needs a good tile saw.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Light weight , Precise, and Easy to use! I have used my tile saw on several custom jobs. Kitchen back splashes, Bathroom floors, Kitchen floors, Entry way floors, and fireplace surrounds. My saw has been flawless in action! All cuts are Precise, smooth, and straight. The cutting blade has held up for over a dozen projects. The on board water pump as well has withstood all my use and abuse. the slide action of the saw is excellent and the ability to see exactly where your cut will be is clearly visible even in direct sunlight! I highly recommend this, and all my RIDGID Brand tools to all my customers and friends. You just can not beat the quality AND the Life Time Warranty!
