Sorry for the confusion. The RIDGID Heated Jackets are not machine washable. We are in the process of correcting that call out online. Below please find the directions on how to properly clean your jacket.
CLEANING THE HEATED JACKET
Do not machine wash, even if your machine has a hand wash (or equivalent) setting. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Dry cleaning chemicals can damage the internal wiring of the jacket.
To clean the heated jacket:
-Disconnect the jacket from the power source.
-Remove the battery pack and power source from the battery pocket, if applicable.
NOTE: Do not allow the battery pack or power source to come into contact with any liquid while cleaning the jacket.
-Hand wash the jacket using cold water and a mild liquid soap.
NOTE: Do not use bleach, powdered detergents, harsh liquid detergents, or fabric softener.
-Hang to dry.
NOTE: Do not wring to remove water and do not machine dry.
