Rated 2 out of 5 by not the best Almost impossible to hold turn and feed with one person January 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value Great tool for the money. I recently started buying ridgid tools, I have not been disatointed yet. January 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Performed reasonably well to accomplish goal. Although I did not accomplish the total goal I was hoping for, the device did effect a reasonable improvement in water flow after I used it on my sink drain. I have also poured an enzymatic solution down the drain as an adjunct to the procedure of the Kwik Spin. Hopefully, this will bring about the drainage flow I am expecting. January 18, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Locking mechanism disqualifies This tool looks durable, but the trigger locking mechanism is impossible to engage. If the locking mechanism worked, this would be a good tool. As it is, it is impossible to use. January 15, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by I did buy this product from HD while it does not work for me The cable was twisted and can not recover after the first time use. I have to cut off the twisted portion of cable. While it does not clear can clog for me. I think I need powerful tool than this one. November 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good for shower drains Purchased one of these for my shower drain that was running slow. Worked perfectly and was surprised how much hair was actually in there. Locking pin on trigger is a bit finicky but otherwise the tool works great and feels very durable like every other ridgid tool I own. November 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to use and performs well Mt husband is a plumber and keeps the kwik spin hand spinner with auto feed on him while working and I have used at the house. Its helped clear tough clogs fast and was very simple to use. I highly recommend this product especially if your a plumber. November 24, 2014

Hi, after using this and it is wet, any recommendations as far as drying it before storing it. Will it rust?

Answer:
We do recommend in the operating instructions that teh cable and drum should be rinsed and let to air dry before storage to help prevent rusting. If you have any further questions please contact our Technical Support Department at 888-743-4333.

Answer:
I have not attempted any specific procedure for drying it, but it would seem logical that if you extend the "snake" to its full length, spray if off with water, and allow it to air dry, it should be fine to store it without fear of rusting. If you put it up wet with the drain residue still on it, you can expect it to rust, I would think. I am not sure of the material that the snake is made, perhaps it is treated in some way to resist rust (i.e., aluminum alloy or galvanized.)
