Great little Radio and Bluetooth player.
I used this recently while painting and I was impressed by the durability, radio reception signal and overall usability.
Some takeaways from my experience:
• Good AM/FM reception. AM can be sketchy at times with some radios but this one held up well while I was enjoying some sports talk radio.
• It’s small and easy to carry around. Very small footprint, which I love. Barely takes up any space in your tool bag. Also great to use outside, in the garage, bedroom, tailgating, etc.
• Easy to use and program. Probably one of the ‘easiest to use’ Radio‘s/Bluetooth’s you have ever owned.
• Bluetooth holds connection well. I got plenty to distance.
• This thing can take a beating. Built well and tough.
• No defects found on the radio.
• It will charge you smartphone. I truly love this feature!
• Aux in for those who don’t want to use Bluetooth.
• 18V battery is efficient on this radio.
• Sound quality is on par for this type of radio, size, and pricepoint.
Overall, it’s a great, compact unit. I couldn’t recommend this one enough.

wee radio with big punch!!!
I, ve owned several of these wee radios since they were bought out(lost 1 had 1 stole).
For such a wee radio they fairly throw out sound.the fact that I can carry it in my teeth while hands full shows how compact and lightweight the radio is.
Although these are 18v Radios , you can still run them with 12v 14vand 18v batteries. The Run time is excellent.
The fact you can clip phone etc onto back of radio and play through radio is great too..

Lasted a couple months
My radio is so new it doesn't have a scratch. I have used only briefly and the first time I tried to use it on a job site it crapped out. I will not purchase another.
Also, it's a shame it does not store the last station after the battery is removed.

Great sound quality
For a little radio this thing has excellent sound quality and fits perfectly in the contractors bag that comes with the Hammer drill and Impact driver combo kit.

Good little radio
AM/FM tuner works pretty well. Auxiliary jack handles mp3 no problem. Sound is good for radio size. Battery life is very l9ng.

Compact all around good radio
This radio is pretty awesome. It's small and compact. It takes 12 or 18 volt batteries. Has good sound and user friendly buttons. I used to have the big boom box tube but I sold it and bought is one. Much easier to transport and you can place it in a lot of different areas where the other big one can't.

are you able to use a power cord also
This is purely a battery operated radio.
Although it's 18v radio, you can use RIDGID OR AEG 12/14/and 18v batteries.

I wanted to know if the 18V mini cordless radio uses lithium-ion batteries or if it's compatible with traditional, non-lithium-ion batteries.
The radio uses all RIDGID/AEG slide type batteries, whether nicd , nimh or lithium ion type.

Will you ever upgrade to Bluetooth radio?
