Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Decent Saw I purchased my 4315 Table Saw 2-16-15 and it has been a good saw, I've had to align the riving knife and adjust the 0/45 degree bevel stops. going on 4 years of use, not a single problem. I cut quite a bit of materials with it but never abused it, I don't cut 4x4 post or large lumber (thats what worm gear saws are for). Ripping 1x or 2x materials are easy and plywood, mdf, osb, etc. are easy. Take the Tim to set the stops for 0/45 degrees and adjust the riving knife. Clean off the saw when you're done and don't abuse it. take care of it and it will last. Understand that it is not a high end table saw, its good for most projects but very fine work requires a higher end saw. For the price point and portability of this saw it was a good buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from They stopped making parts for it. This saw works well. The reason why I reviewed this product so low is because they are still making it and selling it but they stopped making certain parts for it. I need a new arbor shaft a pretty key component of a table saw. And unfortunately this part has been discontinued, making my saw useless. And I’ve only had it a few years. I will not be buying RIDGID’s products to replace this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Saw I work for a general contractor who self preforms all finish carpentry work. We could not ask for more from a jobsite saw. It is very powerful, accurate and mobile. The cart with wheels makes it very easy to wheel around the job site or into the back of a pickup. Very impressed with this 10" jobsite saw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome saw First off, I really like this saw! It comes with a rolling stand, which is awesome. It's really nice to be able to lift one side and move this saw around the shop. I have a small shop so that comes in really handy. I also like the fact it folds up when not in use. As to the cutting, it's great it's chewed through everything I've pushed through. I mill my own lumber mostly hard wood and this saw works great for it. I do realize it's not a cabinet saw wired to 240 volts which would be awesome but I don't have the space for that type of saw. The fence, once adjusted, holds its zero and works great. Highly recommend this saw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great saw I previously had a dewalt saw and was not really happy with it. This saw has a good rip capacity and is quieter than the dewalt. I also really like the stand it comes with. The ability to wheel it around the shop or job site is great. The power is great also. For being a 10 inch saw it will crush thru anything you push through it. Once the fence and blade are trued up it's an accurate saw. (I always true up my saws to get the best performance). I recommend this saw to everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet saw I needed a portable saw and bought this one, it comes with a rolling stand, which is awesome! It will handle anything I can think to push through it. I was building a detatached garage and this thing did everything it was asked to do. It ripped everything from sheet goods to dimensional lumber. It hasnt let me down yet. The overall construction of this saw is great! I love it, and it will be an integral tool for my shop for a long time. I recommend this saw to everyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Alignment issue is not an option I can live with I made the decision to purchase a Ridgid R4513 after much time spent researching different brands, watching youtube reviews for hours. I really liked everything about this saw and very disappointed to have to return it to Home Depot due to alignment issues. From the top of the table to the top of the blade it was a 16th of an inch off. The blade was on a slight angle I could not adjust any further and the fence was out of square as well. I spent hours making adjustments and it was still consistently a 16th of an inch off. There was nothing else I could possibly do. There has to but a factory defeat that does not allow for additional adjustment. The stand was an inch off and no way to adjust it any higher to make it level. I don't know if it was just the one I purchased but living with this is not an option. Very disappointed to have to break this down, repackage and stuff into my two door Jeep Wrangler and return to Home Depot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from R4513 is very cheaply made. I've purchased many Ridgid tools over the years mostly because of the LSA. The performance specs of the tools also have typically been a selling point to me. I figured the lack of durability would be made up for by the LSA. I'm starting to doubt my decisions. I purchased a R4510 a few years ago. It was okay, I had a couple of issues with it that were covered under the LSA. Each repair took 8 weeks, that's right 8 weeks. The last issue I had was that a gear used to raise and lower the blade stripped out. Sent it in and was informed that the repair part was no longer available. They replaced my R4510 with a Re-furbished R4513. This saw is junk. The table top is slightly smaller and made of thinner material, the soft start feature of the motor was removed, the push stick is inferior compared to the previous model, the micro adjust feature on the rip fence is now gone, the front rail is much lighter weight, the spindle nut is much smaller, the table extension is not level with the rest of the table, the table top is not flat, the plastic guard on the stand that acts as a support that extends to the left of the table has been removed, the miter gauge is much smaller and lighter weight than the previous one, the throat plate is non standard, the tape measure is even thinner than the previous one. Since the table is smaller the guide slots are closer together, so none of the jigs and sleds I made for my old saw work on this one, the zero clearance and dado inserts that I have for the 4510 won't work in the 4513. Ridgid called this a comparable replacement. Not comparable at all if you ask me. They say they come out with new models to introduce new features and improvements. Every single thing that is different on this model from the previous one was done to make the saw cheaper to manufacture. It's lighter weight and several features were removed, none added. To top it off, the saw I sent in for repair had a nice expensive blade on it... didn't get that back with the replacement. This is one product that is heading in the wrong direction. The LSA is great in concept but if you have a couple of problems with a tool in a year, (and since the build quality of these tools is declining a couple of problems a year is a real possibility), the tool could be out for repair for 4 months out of the year. This needs to improve along with the durability of the tools.

Are you able to purchase new fence?

Asked by: Kaz800
(877) 544-9253 is the phone number for parts. I would think that is part that they would carry.

instruction manual

1. let me know where I can get a copy of the instruction manual. 2. What is the difference between the r4513 and the older model r4510?
Asked by: tedub
To respond to your question about the differences, my answer would be almost everything. Fortunately, the saw remains very easy to use and extremely accurate for a portable saw. My generalized answer is really based on the components of the saw. Ridgid changed almost all of them. As a user, the primary differences would be: the throat plate is now square instead of rounded, the miter gauge is much lighter and doesn't seem as substantial, the rip fence no longer has a micro adjustment (never used it anyway), but the primary thing in my opinion is the motor. Then new motor spins at a no load speed which is 600 rpm faster than the R4510. Maybe its just my imagination, but this seems to produce a smoother cut. Hope this helps.

is the the motor burn out protected?

Made the mistake of ripping a 2x6 w/ fine tooth blade. and it won't run now. did I burn out the motor?
Asked by: garyG
The switch has circuitry that will protect the motor. If it gets hot, it will melt inside the switch. My saw is put off warranty so I bypassed the burned out circuitry with a new switch, works great. Be sure to use the proper sharp blades and don't abuse the saw.

What material is the Table Top made of?

I don't believe this to be cast iron, but it feels too dense to be aluminum. Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks
Asked by: gtsaucke
Thank you for your interest in RIDGID. The RIDGID R4513 table saws table top is powder coated cast aluminum. Regards, RIDGID
