Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I bought this thinking it was a novelty. Boy was I wrong. This thing is a beast. I was playing around and tried cutting some 1/16th sheet metal and it cut through it like a hot knife on butter! I've since used it to cut all kinds of things that used to take me forever with snips. It's accurate and much faster than my snips, they just collect dust in my shop now. The cutter heads haven't gotten full yet and I've cut just about everything with them. I just love this attachment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty easy to use I am a roofer by trade and this has really helped me with cutting flashing and anything else that would require long lengths to cut with snips. It's got a dual side bevel on the cutters so when one side gets dull flip them around and the cutters are back in business. Overall this cutter head I well built and will hold up to the rigors of daily use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Product A great addition to the JobMax family of tools. It easily connects to the Jobmax console and is straight forward to handle. We recently cut sheet metal on site and it cut with absolute ease! Great product and would highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The product is great especially for hvac installers and tech. I have had my shears for a week and used it a lot of times it’s great cutting. You will have to adjust blades cause of the gap it comes with. The only issue is when you have to cut a hole in your duct you have to slice the duct a lot wider then you would normally do with snips. Other than that the tool is a great addition to the family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent addition to the JobMax family! The JobMax Shear Head is a great addition the family! This adds even more versatility to a great system! It cuts through sheet metal smoothly and does allow radial cutting as well as straight. It is well balanced and has very impressive power for a 12v cordless unit. It can also be used on shingles!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shear madness No more need for tin snips! But seriously, these work very well. I needed to repair a rust spot in my old truck bed and figured I would give this tool a shot at cutting the roughly 3/16th inch sheet metal. It blew through it like butter. It cut clean and fast. Like the fact it has a variable speed and the cutters are interchangeable and reversible. This little tool is a keeper in my book. Oh and I also tried it on sheets of thin veneer. It worked great. No tear out. I recommend this tool to make cutting sheet metal and anything else of that sort easier. It's well built and will hold up to the rigors of hard use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome set of shears! Great pair of shears cuts through sheet metal like butter. First thing I would like to stress is it's important to fine tune the gap between the blades to the thickness of the material you will be cutting. The factory setting is good, but it hangs up on .032 thick aluminum. If you set it right it cuts beautifully with no hang ups. It seems to work best when you go slower. I believe there may be a small learning curve with this tool but you can learn quickly. Your best cutting direction is to have your discarded piece on the right side of the cutter head or else marking can occur. When cutting circles it tends cut better going left over right. The tool is very precise and able to make slivers and cuts as small as 1mm. Also has the cleanest and straightest cuts when compared to a grinder and or traditional hand shears. Overall I think this has to be the quickest and cleanest way to cut sheet good. The shear can cut a variety of materials making it more versatile you think. I love this tool. Its definitely a solid piece of machinery.
