Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value I been looking to replace my miter saw from 1984, so pretty much anything would be an upgrade. But this saw far exceeds many other miter saws that I have used in the past. The positive stops are quite convenient as well. My only complaint would be the dust collection bag is somewhat useless, but I attached my shop-vac to the outlet and it worked very well March 31, 2014

I'm interested in buying this saw but I've read in a LOT of reviews that your saws don't stay straight and are up to 1/8" off when sliding the saw to make a cut towards the back of the piece being cut.

Answer:
There is not a known issue affecting the RIDGID model MS1290LZA as a whole, that is in need of being resolved. If a customer has an adjustment problem with their saw, the saw needs to be checked by a local service provider and any adjustment problem it is determined to have, corrected. If there are still questions please contact our Technical Support Department at 866-539-1710.
