Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Improvement I am a concrete contractor and have used all brands of cordless tools. Ridgid tools are not always the most powerful or cheapest but for middle of the road pricing they represent the best value by far. And for me Ridgid tools fit best in my hands. one of the reasons for this is their battery paks. This 2amp/hour pak is a nice improvement and does not add much weight to the tool. Ridgid has bigger 4 and 5amp/hour batteries and they last and perform great but like all longer amp/hour batteries they add weight. These 2amp/hour batteries are light and last a long time. I have had this battery for over a year now and I work it hard but keep them charged and dry and have had no issues.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad Design While the battery works great, the body design has a lot of room for improvement. This is the second defective battery I have had But the first time was entirely my fault. I left my impact driver setting on a 55 gallon drum and it rained and the water soaked up through the vents on the bottom of the battery. Now the second time really questions the durability. I had my impact setting on my work bench. My shop roof leaked and got some on the bench. Not a pool. Just a thin layer of water. The battery sucked it right up and poof, I'm back down to one battery again. I love my ridgid tools but this is starting to get very expensive at $70 each

I have a R841150 18v drill. Is there a 4 hour battery I can use with it and the chargerthat came with it?

Asked by: bcgrossman
Thank you for your interest in RIDGID! Yes, RIDGID 4.0 Ah battery #AC840087will work with the R841150, but it does requires a correct charger. If he has an older NiCad charger, it cannot be used with the 4.0 Ah battery, but a newer multi-chemistry charger can. Regards, RIDGID
