Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cuts well, LED light is handy, I always forget where the switch is when I need to shut it off I am a DIYer and this is a great product for me, I always, always, forget where the switch is when it time shut it off. That is my only complaint. I have used this with 2x and MDF. For those who are new to a router, slow and steady wins the race. Do not try to remove everything in one pass, take off a little at a time and make multiple passes taking off a little more each time. This will ensure a better cut and will reduce the load on your router so it does not burn out quickly. I do appreciate that the power on/off switch requires you pull it out, I feel that this is to prevent the router from accidentally turning on if someone left the battery in. Since companies are always creating accessories to meet needs , I would love to see a vacuum port for this, whenever you cut wood you have to deal with lots of dust. I would love to see a better dust control system.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great router, bad switch I find this compact router very good. I used it for trimming formica and occasionally for making bullnose edges on sill. But for the past couple of months the switch starts acting up and now won't run unless I hold the switch out with my finger. But overall a great product. I would buy it again. I am not happy that it's a dud now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This router is BOMB! This router is great! It completely blew me away. I used it to build some mdf shelving and did a 1/2" bit and it went through it with ease.I am very pleased with it!

Table mount option?

Is there an option to mount this router to a router table? If so, what is recommended? Thanks.
Asked by: ToolSeeker

Does it come with a round base too? What is it's power in HP? How does it's power compare to the corded ones
