Rated 3 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 3 out of 5 by easy to use overall satisfied with this generator. One problem is it is very loud. a lawn mower without a muffler is more quiet. Good for a construction site but for backup home use keep your windows closed and your T.V. turned up, your neighbors won't like it. October 28, 2013

Product Q&A

Back >>
1. Is the 30A 14-30 plug a dedicated 220v? I will be using it to power a 31' Cavalier travel trailer that utilizes a TT30 30A power receptacle. The trailer is run on 120v power. Will I be able to safely hook this trailer to my generator using an adapter for the cable? In the maual it states the 14-30 plug is 120/220, is there a switch for the power output?

Attached are pics of the RV receptacle and power information, the cable I will be using, and the adapter for the 14-30 plug.

2. Can I run an additional similiar setup with the 14-20 that connects to the removable control panel utilizing the supplied control panel cord and TT30 adapter?

Please advise.

The 30 Amp twist lock outlet on RIDGID generators is a 240V outlet.

Depending on the generator model that you are attempting to use, you would need to determine the correct PowerFit brand RV adaptor sold at Home Depot, to connect and power your RV directly from his RIDGID generator.
