Rated 4 out of 5 by from Power to spare Had the tool about 2 months. Used it to sand, cut rebar, and bolts, Have also used to cut concrete even though I hadn't planned on it when I bought it. I intended to just use it for light jobs but after a few uses realized it had more power than I anticipated. I like the lock on trigger feature that turns off with a click of the thumb. I've only used my corded sawzall once since I got it and that's only because I was to lazy to change the blade. If I had to cut rebar all day I would break out a corded saw, There's no question a corded saw has a little more power. Rule of thumb for me is going to be 30 min. of less project cutting time and I will use the cordless. And...I carried it with me to Home Depot so I could cut down 20' rebar so it would fit in my trailer. Portability and no extension cord is wonderful. ,

What size is the spindle, is it variable speed and what RPM does it turn at?

Already own the tool and love it, but I need to do some polishing of the edges of glass tile and have been looking at polishing kits.
