We are looking for creative individuals who enjoy collaboration, who love software development, who want to learn and share, and who want their work to make an impact. In particular, we are looking to hire a full-time ASP.NET MVC Developer for our Digital Customer Experience team, internally known as “Team El Toro Potatoes” (<-- it’s a long story). If you are a geek who loves full-stack ASP.NET development in an agile environment then you’ll be a great fit!

About The Team

Team El Toro Potatoes is responsible for developing our highly visible, public-facing website which is used by millions of customers worldwide. The team also develops a rich set of tools and services for managing marketing product content that is intended for the web, product catalogs, mobile applications, and more. El Toro Potatoes also has a competency in eCommerce and has built systems to accept credit card payments, view order history, authenticate across multiple systems, etc. The team practices TDD, DevOps, and applies agile methods. We are always looking to adopt new technologies that can help us improve the customer’s online experience through development practices and technologies. Some of the technologies we currently use include ASP.NET MVC 5+, C#, Orchard CMS, Microsoft Azure, Git/GitHub, SQL Server, WebAPI, AngularJS, Google Analytics, TeamCity, NUnit, Rhino Mocks, LLBLGen Pro, CloudFlare CDN, Redis, and more.

The demand for public-facing web features has outpaced the size of our team and we are looking to expand! Team El Toro Potatoes is entirely located at our Corporate Headquarters in Elyria, OH. Members of the cross-functional team include several developers, the Product Owner, a UX Designer and numerous customer representatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enhance the online experience of our customers through the development of snazzy web applications
  • Participates in all aspects of the development process including design, development, testing (or testing çè Development if you TDD!), code reviews, deployments, etc.
  • Investigates and implements new technologies where appropriate
  • Works with and mentors junior developers

Minimum Requirements

  • Moderate experience in ASP.NET web development (HTML, Javascript, CSS)
  • ASP.NET MVC 5+
  • Test Driven Development
  • Relational database knowledge
  • ORM tools like Entity Framework or LLBLGen Pro
  • Experience with agile software development
