Heated Jacket with Power Cord, R86071 18V Power Source, Standard Charger, R840085 1.5Ah Lithium-Ion Battery and Operator’s Manuals
Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by great feature but i recently just did a pro tool review on this heated jacket. There are 2 issues I had. One was the battery size. 18v provides longer run time but sacrifices bulkiness. Second was the battery pouch access. The battery pouch is on the left side about 3/4 around to the back. Tough access. The good parts is it is sleek, sexy, rugged, and has great storage for the electronics. The channels inside allow your devices to be kept protected and go unnoticed. November 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product really works great. This jacket is warm even without the battery. It really cuts the wind. Deep pockets and it looks good too. I will buy another one if this one gets wore out. November 21, 2014

Dear Customer,

Sorry for the confusion. The RIDGID Heated Jackets are not machine washable. We are in the process of correcting that call out online. Below please find the directions on how to properly clean your jacket.

Do not machine wash, even if your machine has a hand wash (or equivalent) setting. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Dry cleaning chemicals can damage the internal wiring of the jacket.

To clean the heated jacket:
-Disconnect the jacket from the power source.
-Remove the battery pack and power source from the battery pocket, if applicable.
NOTE: Do not allow the battery pack or power source to come into contact with any liquid while cleaning the jacket.
-Hand wash the jacket using cold water and a mild liquid soap.
NOTE: Do not use bleach, powdered detergents, harsh liquid detergents, or fabric softener.
-Hang to dry.
NOTE: Do not wring to remove water and do not machine dry.

Thank you,
