Rated 3 out of 5 It is a very useful and time saving tool.
I would have to be honest about this tool by saying that it works great if it haden,t broke down after the third time useing it.
Hopefully when we get it back from the repair shop it will last at least four or five times of use.
Then we could give it a better review.
At this time we have not been able to use it very much, so our review is a little negative at this time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jimmy777 This tool is light and compact making the job easy.
I have been using an electric pro press tool for 3 years. Now that I have the battery powered RP 200 it sure is a big difference. The tool is light and compact using it all day is just like a normal hand tool.

I actually had been waiting for this tool to come out, after the release I purchased a combo pack in conjuction with the Viega Promotion, I would say I use this tool for repairs at least once a week, works great when you can't get the water to stop running and you can just press an new valve in place and turn the water on. Love it as I do my older press tool. Would by another in a heart beat, no regrets or sleepless nights about purchase, would love to get a couple for each employee.

Rated 5 out of 5 by zman53 Very nice and heavy duty tool
works very nice in tight spaces. Very handy for service work. I already have the larger set with 1/2"-2" with the cast cutter and use it all the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MonmouthPlumbs A great tool to add to the arsenal
I've used the press fitting system on commercial construction previously where literally thousands of joints were pressed using Ridgid press equipment. Now that I primarily work in residential service, the RP 200-B is indispensable. Never again will I need to be in a crawlspace trying to solder wet copper. When you're in a situation where you only need a few fittings to complete a job, such as cutting in a tee for an ice maker supply valve, or fixing a leaking pipe, or replacing a water heater, it doesn't make sense to use a torch. I can literally complete a repair in less time than it takes to write up the bill. This is a great alternative to soldering when you are in a situation where flames could be dangerous, or when you're trying to solder that last wet joint and the steam starts to pinhole around your fitting. Add a set of pure flow PEX jaws, and you have a tool that's even more useful. I'd love to see them be able to use megapress even if it only would do 3/4" IPS that would make a lot of repairs very easy and the threading machine would be able to stay at the shop. I also should add that recently another company has come out with a press tool, but I would never stray away from Ridgid even if their other tool may be a little less expensive. There isn't any comparison when you look at the fact that Ridgid has a lifetime warranty. This tool has a longer duty cycle, and Ridgid has proven themselves as being the leading tool manufacturer in the plumbing and pipefitting trades. All my pipe wrenches are Ridgid for a reason. I wasn't going to risk skimping on purchasing anything other than a Ridgid press tool. It's simply not worth it.
