Rated 4 de 5 por de Durable and affordable It seems that the majority of bad reviews come from those that haven't a clue about batteries nor are they comparing them to other competitors batteries. I have a wide swath of different name brand tools from Makita Dewalt Milwaukee Bosch Porter cable just to name a few. I also have had the opportunity to rip many battery packs apart and see the quality of cells used. These are top tier batteries and with even 15 minutes reading about how to treat lithium ion packs will save much cash and aggravation. Heat destroys batteries and I think that many of these reviews come from those that do not know how to treat their tools and hove no idea of how to store batteries. I have trusted ridgid for years whn it comes to bang for buck and have almost every tool they have produced. I even have the 24 volt line although now I cannot find those battteries which is disappointing....treat your tools and batteries right and you weill see little difference between these and any of the other brands out there. Show me a company that has a warranty as good as ridgid and you can have all my new dewalt junk.

Rated 1 de 5 por de Horrible batteries, returning whole kit I bought a combo kit one battery was bad , it would fully charge and work , but it glitches after a few minutes and one light would blink on the battery and then you have to put it back on the charger for one second then it reads full power again . I took the battery back and exchanged it but it and the 3rd battery was the same , it's sad the tools seem nice but the batteries are horrible , I hate to take it back ,but I need a kit that works correctly # taking it back to home depot today #glad I still have my receipt

Rated 5 de 5 por de Excellent product I have used my Ridgid drills for years with no problems. Finally, one of the four batteries that came with the set stopped recharging. I took it to Home Depot. They replaced it on the spot with no questions asked. What more could I want?

Rated 1 de 5 por de Poor warranty and quality I work and purchase for a HVAC and PlB contractor we have purchased a couple of dozen Ridged tool kits and have 4 times the failure with the Ridged as apposed to the milwaukee tool kits and the warranty is a joke they do all they can to make it as difficult as possible to get anything warrantied and if the STICKER falls off there is no warranty (yeah they put the serial # on a sticker) I am all done with buying any Ridged battery tools The batteries and chargers fail at an alarming rate. The Ridged batteries are also more susceptible to cold weather failure than the other tools we use as well.

Rated 1 de 5 por de Can't even charge the battery. Just bought a new charger and (2) new 4.0 AH batteries to use on a job tomorrow (circular saw - framing steps) and one battery has been sitting on the charger for over 3 hours and it is still flashing 2 LED's. Luckily I bought a Milwaukee Circular Saw as a back up and I have (2) 4.0 AH batteries that I have for a rotary hammer. Those batteries charge within 70-90 minutes from completely drained to fully charged. If this battery charger doesn't charge these new batterie(s) over night I will return the batteries and the charger and go with Milwaukee. What could be defective? Batteries or Charger?. Will post an update in the next day or two. Will use other ridgid chargers that came with the (2) x4 drills that I own.

Rated 5 de 5 por de Great battery I can't understand the few complaints there are with this battery, I've had two of them now for 3 years and they're both going strong. I did follow the directions, I find this usually helps! Also note these batteries are Lithium-ion batteries, they DO NOT need to be fully charged and fully discharged before being fully charged again because they do not have a memory like the old nickel-cadmium batteries, thus you can recharge the battery anytime you want regardless of rate of discharge.. You do need to fully charge the battery when you first get the battery. Based on what I heard from a battery company, I did for the first time fully recharge and fully discharged 3 times before treating it however I want. Ridgid does not mention this in their operating instructions so someone could e-mail them directly and find out more about this, but since it is Li-ion it won't hurt it either to cycle the battery fully the first 3 times.

Rated 1 de 5 por de Batteries don't last We have replaced four batteries because they don't last. they lose their charge quickly or don't have the ability to recharge within two years. Yes, they are continually charged and maintained. Under the same environment and treatment, my old Craftsman battery has lasted for seven years. Remember to register your battery for either the Three year or Lifetime warranty depending on what size it is. These batteries are not dependable although the Tools have been a pleasure to use and have lasted quiet well. I can't endorse a product that continues to push subpar batteries which are the money maker. Home Depot was helpful to assist with the batteries that have been under the warranty, but that takes time to receive in the mail.

Rated 4 de 5 por de works good I like that this battery holds it charge even in the cold weather where the older ones always need to be charged again in the morning.
