Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small Compact and easy to maneuver The Rigid RP241 was a second purchase of a press tool after finding out the 3k spent on the RP340 didn't have Zoomlock Jaws available. The RP241 is much smaller and compact and able to fit into tight spaces. Love the tool and thus far it has worked flawless. The trigger to press is in a position that occasionally may cause you to hit it by accident. Other than that little issue this is a great tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to learn and use Tool is a time saver in turn money maker. Works well for the few weeks I’ve used it. Fittings are tight and secure with minimal prep work. Will be purchasing the 340 in the future for larger black iron jobs

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Performance is good needs some key fetures Over all performance is good but it need some key features , for example a meter reading on how many clamp is been done, not a blue tooth but physical screen on the tool. The other a trigger guard this way the tool does not engage while setting up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The RP 241 is the comfortable single handed operation of any press tool. Having used other brands of press tools I personally feel the RP241 is the nicest compact tool available. The tools ergonomics are amazing, single handed operation is best the compact press tool class. Then with Ridgid's availability of compact mega press jaws and RLS refrigeration jaws, I felt like it was the best investment for my small business.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for tight places Just recently sent mine back to Ridgid for re calibration . I was told these units get it performed more often than the larger units. Rigid batteries last a long time between charges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Addition! I’ve been using the 241 for a week now on pureflow pex and Viega copper press fittings. I haven’t had any problems with it and is compact to get into tight places. Battery charge last along time. Switch placement takes a little time to get used to. I fit the kit into a Milwaukee Packout box and is working great.

does this tool do pex crimp

I am looking for a tool that I can use to pro press copper and pex crimp
Asked by: BKZ1
Absolutely. This tool with the F1807 jaw sets for the pex pipe you will be crimping works great. Easily allows you to switch systems while utilizing the same tool.

Is there a 1-1/2" compact pro press copper jaw for the 200-B tool ?

Asked by: Bob2
I am sorry, there is not a 1 1/2" jaw for copper that works on our compact models such as the RP 200-B. The RP 340 Press Tool has a range of 1/2" - 4" with the appropriate jaws and/or rings.
