RIDGID FlexShaft cables are essential to providing the flexibility, cleanliness, and efficiency of FlexShaft high speed drain cleaning machines.

LiveCore™ cables are the standard, most flexible cable that can be operated in forward and reverse. These cables are gold in color and will give you the most flexibility. LiveCore cables act like a spring when cut, so the ends need to be fused before cutting any damaged portion of cable back.

DeadCore™ cables are a stiffer cable, ideal for milling and heavy descaling. These cables are black in color, and should only be operated in the forward direction. The construction of the DeadCore cable allows you to cut back damaged sections without the risk of the cable unwinding.

Repair couplings are available for the 1/4" and 5/16" DeadCore cable, for use with the K9-102+ and K9204+ only.
