Rated 5 out of 5 by Bezz from Lost without it I've used Ridgid 300's since the first days of my apprenticeship beginning in 1976. These machines are truly wonderful, easy to use and extremely robust. Whatever you throw at them, they shrug it off. Dependable and powerful, the 300 is just perfect for all pipework requirements. I've had the misfortune to use "other" makes that look suspiciously alike the 300 and there is no comparison. The 300 is a true masterpiece, copied by some, rivalled by none.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Threader123 from Great product easy to use Product works great and speeds up threading time with all tools on the machine. Changing dies for the smaller size pipe is easy and quick. Only con is the weight of it makes it a little difficult to move by yourself

Rated 5 out of 5 by AandI from I always buy ridgid because it stands for quality! You can buy other, cheaper threaders for sure, but when it comes to quality and dependability ridgid can not be matched. With all the attachments available it truly is the most valuable machine in our plumbing shop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SprinklerNV from What a great machine! This is my third machine, i buy a new machine about every 5 years, Not from wearing it out, cause its such a great machine it gets stolen! this hot item is one of the best and most durable machines, One guy has the wire pulling attachment for it he loves it, I have the 57 RPM cause I need the speed of the threading, 300 can keep up with two sprinkler fitters on ladders all day, I use this in the hot Nevada sun in the summer and it never fails, may get hot after 8 hours of threading. but it never shuts down and keeps pumping out pipe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ClimateCreator from The best threader you'll ever buy! I have had and USED this machine for 15 years now and can honestly say if you're in the HVAC trade it's probably going to be the only one you'll ever need. Very reliable and well built. Two tips : (1) get a wheel kit (2) get another die head to make switching pipe size faster.

57 RPM Drawbacks?
Are there any drawbacks to getting the higher rpm machine other than it requires a 20 amp breaker? Can you still thread up to 2" pipe at the higher speed. Does it work well with roll groovers? What about threading stainless?
Thank you for contacting RIDGID! You can still thread up to 2" with the 57 RPM, but we do not recommend it. Due to the higher RPM the life of your dies will be cut quite significantly. I would suggest giving our technical services a call so you can discuss more options and questions with them directly, I think it would be beneficial to talk to a technician directly. You can reach them at 800-519-3456.

What size generator is recommended for a 300 and 535 rigid threader
We generally recommend a 4,000 to 5,000 KW generator to ensure ample power is supplied to the machines. Thanks, RIDGID
