Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent replacement for my old shopvac Of course the day water decides to come into my basement my old shopvac quits. This vacuum was more than I wanted to spend but demand for wet vacs was high due to large rainfall and lots of flooded basement. Only the most expensive models were left. .After getting it home and set up (took about 15 minutes) it proved worth the money. It vacuumed up every drop quickly and emptied easily. When it was time to remove and clean up the wet drywall it perform very well. Despite being more money than I wanted to spend I do not regret purchasing this vacuum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Vac on the Market I have been using a Black Friday sale wet/dry vac for several years. I had always wanted an upgrade but I wasn't convinced it would be worth the cost. I could not have been more wrong. This vac is light years beyond anything else I have ever used. I would go feature by feature but it is really not necessary. There are almost no flaws I can think of off the top of my head other than those which are common to all wet/dry vacs (attachments don't always stay attached when dragging the vacuum around etc...) If you are in the market for a shop vac, don't waste your money on anything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best power for the money. This is my 2nd Ridged shop vac. 1st one lasted 13 years. The power of these vacs is much higher for the cost than any other 'popular' named brand. I sent the old one back since Ridged claims to have a life time warranty. Maybe they will put a new motor in it. It's been an awesome vac. The only draw back to this new vac is where to attach the free end of the hose for storage. Not really a dedicated place. But it can be wrapped around the handle and is fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like the size of the hose,it fits to all my tools. The long cord allows me to move the vac around my shop and it has strong suction. As I explained in the review summary l am extremely happy with this product. It serves my needs. My only complaint would be that it is very loud, but most of the time I am wearing ear protection anyway so it is not a big problem.

If a airwatts are 0.117354 * (CFM) * (inches water), then do I calculate correctly that this model no. WD1851 will lift water 12.8 inches high? 306 watts * (1/0.117354) * (1/203 CFM) = 12.8 inches of water I feel like that number is way too low - I'm sure your product lifts water more than 1 foot high! I may have the calculation wrong or the pressure may be specified another way. What do the units of "G/h" mean? Besides, it seems like an odd coincidence that this is almost exactly the inches for model WD4070 when the WD4070 is rated 5.0 peak HP and the model on this page is rated 6.5 peak HP. Thank you for the help.
