Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 67 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Running backwards The drain cleaner new out of box was running in reverse. I emailed cust service about prob but have had no response back.Had to take apart and switch a couple wires around. May 23, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice, light weight, snake. I like the cable housing it minimized the mess that I've experienced with other snake's. I would recommend this snake for the reasons in my review summary. I will say when you are finished using the snake take it outside and extend the cable out and wash it off with clean bleach water, take off anything that has been wrapped around the cable, dry the cable off and spray the cable down with wd-40. The wheels on auto feed handle also need to be lubricated after each use. Great snake for the price! May 1, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice service tool Nice and compact, light weight and clean. Great for taking into service calls. Only drawback being how hard you have to squeeze the trigger for sending and retracting the cable. April 20, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by powerful but not long enough This clean out tool is decently powered for getting into most drains, even those with some clogging but remains woefully short in length. I don't think the average home owner would understand the tricks of using such a tool. That all being said I have successfully cleared four drains and have only had the thing a week. April 16, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by disappointment Ridgid used to stand for quality. Don't know what happened but this product does not live up to the name. I have many Ridgid power tools as a diy person. I should have expected something when a product can not be returned. The product was weak and very cumbersome to use. Rewind is a complete joke. This will be my last Ridgid product I will ever buy again. Take heed... Any product that can not be returned for a valid reason should shout stay away! March 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Like the physical size of the unit, not big and clumsy. Used the unit on a plugged drain ,a combination of bathroom sink, washtub, kitchen sink and washer. It worked great especially the auto feeder. Very clean and easy to use and the price was very reasonable. March 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product Great product. Easy to use. One man operation. Very effective February 28, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Cable advance does not work !! Used the k30 machine to unclog a bathroom sink and the cable advance mechanism was useless. My hand was sore from pressing on the advance lever to go forward. The unit was not even a year old. The only benefit the k 30 has is it is compact and transportable. I would not recommend this product to anyone. February 23, 2016

I have ordered a cable from a local authorized service center I found with the documents that came with the machine.
You may also try Ridgids website for that information, or parts and where to get them

Answer:
Go on Ridgid's website, type in your zip code and find Ridgid dealer in your area. Home Depot usually carries a pretty full line of Ridgid accessories and parts. WARNING!! DON'T SUBSTITUTE. Get Ridgid replacement parts to work correctly in Ridgid machine (and not VOID your lifetime warrantee.) Brasscraft, Spartan, General, Ace Hardware, True Value, local plumbing supply house brand may look alike, but do not perform the same (and are sometimes dangerous to cause injury).. Again, you7 get what you pay for.

Answer:
You would need to mark the cable to know the footage. Most people will mark the cable with nail polish every five feet. Hope this helps.

Answer:
because the cable is clipped inside the drum, it just won't feed anymore. I've wondered if there wouldn't be a way of marking the cable every 5 ft so that you could know how much cable you've put down the drain.
