16 Gallon Wet/Dry Vac With Cart is rated out of 5 by 268.
Rated 5 out of 5 by furnitureman7 from A top quality shop vac in every way. The large rear wheels help the body to follow the user in a way most machines don't. The muffler quiets the motor better than I expected. The filter is easier to clean than other vacs that I have used through the years and I really like the accessories caddy attached to the handle. I tested the wet pickup capabilities and was impressed with the results. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Homeraut from Powerful and quiet I have owned several shop vacs that were small and did the job as anticipated. I never really thought I would need one that had more suction or power. I recently started doing more work in my shop with wood working power tools and the saw dust was always a constant problem. I purchased a Dust Deputy and hooked it to my 12 gallon wet dry vac and was mostly pleased with the results. Although there was always a lot of shavings and sawdust left. So I was constantly sweeping and cleaning after every tool that I used. I thought maybe my vacuum was just not powerful enough and I was right. After about a week of reading reviews and comments I decided on the rigid with the 6.5 amp motor. I chose the one with the tool bag because I'm limited with space. Assembly was quick and easy. I had this vacuum up and running in less than ten minutes. It's very powerful and I love the large diameter hose. I've purchased the longer more flexible hose made by Rigid to reach the dust ports of my tools. It does such a great job I only clean up now after a full days work on my projects. For me as a hobbyist it's been great. Cuts the dust and shavings left by more than 50% of my other vacuum. I would definitely recommend this product!'

Rated 5 out of 5 by smithdal from Best Wet/Dry Vac made I thought I blew my vac up with tile job I did but it handle all the nasty clean up. I put everything wet, dry, large chunks of tile and lots of tile dust! You know the kind of junk that clogs everything... well once I lots suction I emptied the container and thought I had ruined the vac. But to my surprise after changing out my very old filter the vac sucked up my screw driver in my saw dust in the shop. I'm sold! Be vac out there. Lots of reviews out there to add this one with them. I rate this one high and use it every day almost. I am very happy with it. The kind of happy that stops a guy from looking at any other brands and I wonder what the next evolution of this vac will do!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Randykyla from Great product Great vac. Best I have used in a long time. But the two black extension nozzles don't have a holder for them. That is the only issue with this product which is very minor. Performance is amazing. A great tool for our home renos.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Roby from New to me but better than Shop Vac I have owned several Shop Vacs. They are not durable and are unreasonable to repair. This new Ridgid assembled nicely and has performed well. The warranty, should anything go wrong, will make a huge difference between it and the competition. I like not having to use a bad and filter. Love the Warranty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by KByz from My first purchase of a wet/dry vac I recently purchased my first home last year and I quickly found out that I need an assortment of tools and other things handy. I had been looking for a wet/dry vac and I decided early on that it was going to be a RIDGID. I am very pleased with my purchase and I can't sing its praises enough. I have used it for general clean-up of my truck and to clean up my basement/garage and cobwebs. This thing is really powerful and it isn't noisy at all. There are two things I would change and those are the endcaps and a place to put the hose. The end caps needed to be hammered down on the ends of the rod and I think a better solution would have been to make these screw on instead. And I a nice place to wrap the hose would have been a nice addition too, but overall I couldn't be happier with this product.

If a airwatts are 0.117354 * (CFM) * (inches water), then do I calculate correctly that this model no. WD1851 will lift water 12.8 inches high? 306 watts * (1/0.117354) * (1/203 CFM) = 12.8 inches of water I feel like that number is way too low - I'm sure your product lifts water more than 1 foot high! I may have the calculation wrong or the pressure may be specified another way. What do the units of "G/h" mean? Besides, it seems like an odd coincidence that this is almost exactly the inches for model WD4070 when the WD4070 is rated 5.0 peak HP and the model on this page is rated 6.5 peak HP. Thank you for the help.
You are right it would lift water more like 10 ft.
