What is the maximum diameter a strap wrench can handle and do you make larger or mini sizes? Strap wrench capacity is limited by the tool's rated outside-diameter capacity and by the handle strength, not only the strap length. Some model straps may be long enough to wrap larger objects, but wrapping beyond the recommended pipe size can produce torque higher than the handle is designed to withstand.
With these lightweight and versatile units, there is no need to dig or tear apart walls. Simply attach the clamps to the metal pipe on each side of the frozen section and the pipe is thawed within minutes. There is no tripping of the unit or need to turn the unit off during the thawing process.
