Can u use the dust bag for the 6/9 gal. On the 4 gal

Asked by: Donarp
Thank you for your interest in RIDGID! The VF3503 filter bags for the 6 and 9 gallon vacuums will be too big for a 4 gallon vacuum. Please use the VF3501 bags which are specifically designed for our 4 to 4.5 gallon vacuums. I hope this meets your needs. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to call us at 1-800-4-RIDGID (1-800-474-3443) or you may send your email to [email protected] Regards, RIDGID

Will this fit a WD12450?

Will this fit a WD12450? the position of the inlet is on the head portion vs the the dust drum (like on current ridgid wet/dry vacs
Asked by: djciscoelnino
Thank you for contacting RIDGID® Customer Support. Unfortunately, the WD12450 is not designed to have filter bags. Only the RIDGID® vacuums with an intake or suction port located on the drum are capable of using filter bags. I hope this meets your needs. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to call us at 1-800-4-RIDGID (1-800-474-3443) or you may send your email to [email protected]

Used for wet applications?

Can this bag be used in wet applications? For example, cleaning up a water leak with wood chips mixed in?
Asked by: JKColo22
Hello JKColo22, No, this filter bag can't be used for any wet application. It's only designed for dry pickups. If you have further questions or concerns, you may call Customer Service at 1-800-474-3443. Thank you, RIDGID Customer Support

I have a WD14500 that has a 90 degree elbow where the bag would attach. Does this elbow come off or will the bag fit over it?

The elbow seems to be permanent with no way for it to come off. I can't find anything about it in the manual or on rigid.com.
Asked by: bkfld1
Thank you for your interest in RIDGID! The plastic elbow or inlet tube is permanent on the drum. The bag fits over that plastic part. Please contact us if you need anything else. Regards, RIDGID
