With the release of enhanced RIDGID^® SeeSnake^® cameras powered by TruSense™ technology that delivers powerful data capability to plumbing diagnostics, RIDGID added two new compact series of camera reels, the SeeSnake Compact C40 and M40.

Each powered by TruSense technology, both takes pipe inspection to the next level by providing optimum in-pipe viewing while taking into consideration minimizing strain on the body of its users. These effectively works by establishing a two-way datalink path between the camera head and the connected to RIDGID CSx series Wi-Fi enabled monitors.

With high dynamic range (HDR) image sensor, it also gives a greater ratio of bright and dark areas to be displayed in the same image without reducing its visibility, clarity and quality. Furthermore, it also conveys valuable information about the camera's angle through Tiltsense™ inclinometer and displays useful indicator of the pitch of the camera in-pipe.

C40 and M40 are ideal to be paired with the new CS6x Versa Digital Reporting Monitor with its quick-release docking system. Both camera reels feature a 25 mm self-leveling camera head, 131 feet (40 meters) of push cable. Designed with sturdy metal frame gives a solid base that allows easier maneuverability when pushing and retrieving the cable. The C40’s flexible push cable is recommended for small or restricted branch lines with tight turns and shorter runs in main laterals, while the M40’s moderately stiff push cable works better in longer runs such as in the main and branch lines.
