Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Love this particular model. Did try the smaller model but lack suction but this one is great. Don't expect much run time with one battery: a 56Wh battery is enough for one vehicle. Totally recommend this one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs a place to store the hose. I decided to return this product after I opened the box so I can't speak to it's performance. I needed a small vac where all the attachments could fit inside the case. The hose does not stow so I returned it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is easy to operate. It is lightweight and easy to use. Recomend using 4.0AH or 5.0AH for longer run time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much more convenient for quick smaller jobs Fantastic Product and idea . Purchased mainly for vehicle use, instead of dragging out my regular shop vac but find it very easy to grab for quick touch ups around the house. I am once again very pleased with the Ridgid Product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed for my workshop! This product is lightweight and can easily handle workshop clean up responsibilities. I'd recommend a 4 to 5 hour battery as the vacuum does use quite a lot of battery power. It would be nice if additional accessories came with the unit. However, these accessories are available at the Home Depot. Overall, I am very please with the unit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great car vac This vacuum works really good, but I just wish it had somewhere to hold the nozzles. Has all the power neede for cleaning a vehicle or small shop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fantastic product This vac is great. The sucking power is fantastic. Much stronger than I expected for a little cordless vac. Attachments and hose are included and well designed. Easy to empty and keep clean, filter removes very easily. Conversely, keep another battery ready. When it's working it goes through a battery relatively quickly. Also, I was quick to register the product for a lifetime warranty, as a few components felt a little flimsy. No issues after the first month, but I would expect to see the next model be beefed up a bit with less flimsy / cheap hinges. If I lost it tomorrow though, I'd buy another one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from JUST BUY IT Dont waste your time hem and hawing deciding to buy this or not. Just buy it, you will be glad you did. Hose is suprisingly heavy duty and well made. Body is also very durable. Would do just fine in the back of a truck on 10 miles of bad road. The cover for the battery compartment is a little flimsy but as long as you close it correctly its plenty durable due to the shape and fitting. Would have been nice to have some attachment storage and a place to organize the hose to the exterior. For 80 bucks i believe its a great value.

Is the 18v cordless vac eligible for the Lifetime Service Agreement?

I recently purchased the cordless vac, and it very clearly states LSA eligible on the box. I am familiar with registering products for the LSA, and all of my other tools, once registered, show the warranty status. However once I registered the vac, (which incidentally required a separate login), there was no mention of the LSA. Please clarify.

I spoke with a Ridgid representative, and I was told that certain tools have different warranty registration, the cordless vac comes with life time warranty , no LSA needed.

Low battery ?

I just purchased this vacum . I own 4 Ridgid 18volt Lithium batteries. 3, 2.0 AmH and one 4.0 AmH . I tried the 4.0 one first and after exactly 5 minutes ( not complaining at all about run time ) it started to go on and off . I figured if it was dying it would get weak then just shut off. I then tried a 2.0 AmH battery and after a while ( I didn't time this one) it gradually got weaker lower and gradually shut off. So is this normal for the vacum ? I called Ridgid they said they didn't know if the batteries could do that and recommended I return. Thank you for any help .
