Rated 3 out of 5 by JT67 from Second unit seems to work Purchased from Home Depot 9 May 2017. Use3d it for 2 hours, most of that spent trying to figure out why it cuts off. Will not run, stops, wont start. Either bad switch or intermittent wiring short. Returned to HD for a swapout. second unit seems to work ok,

Rated 4 out of 5 by TorqueRoller from Great price and great performance. Used this Ridgid 9 gallon wet/dry vac to prepare the floor of a 2 car garage for an epoxy coating. With some added attachments, squeegee and crevice tool, it worked great for removing dry debris after scraping the floor. The wet pickup performance with the squeegee attachment was also excellent. It really sped up the drying process after doing an acid etch cleaning. My only negative comment is that I have concerns of the way the wheels attach. Works fine now, although I had one wheel mount detach while using it, just needed to press it back in, but the way they just press into the canister, I wonder how durable they will be over time. All in all, it's a very affordable vac that has top of the line performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Enuf2bDangerous from Performs well The vacuum sucks well. The wheel set allows the canister to move without tipping over. The included attachments are sparse, but additional ones can be purchased separately. Bought mine on sale so very happy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by PhilP from Works ok, easy to manuever works ok, but I would like more power than it has, doesn't suck up things as easily as I would like. And the attachments do not include a small, narrower nozzle which might help.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Saxman11 from Good Vac for price Basic vac. Good for price. Not super powered but good for around the home and garage. Not too heavy, stable. Got mine packaged with car cleaning kit, tough to beat the price and warranty. Bags seem pretty expensive though and no brush included ($15 to buy).

drianage plug size ?
what is recommended to attach a hose or pipe for drainage with my Rigid 9 gal wet/dry vac ? Or what size adaptor ?
the hose size is 1 7/8" diameter exactly

Where can I get an adapter that fits the 1 7/8" hose? I want to attach the unit to an outlet port from a tool.
Ridgid does not sell an adapter for 1 7/8" hose. Their alternative is to buy another hose that is 2".
