Rated 5 out of 5 by joehop67 from Quality equipment After making the mistake of purchasing a less expensive pipe threader that performed worse than poor, i purchased the Ridgid manual ratcheting threader. This is a quality tool! Very substantial in look and feel. Threaded no less than 16 pieces of 3/4" steel pipe in less than 2 hours and the tool still performs like it is brand new. Quality American Made equipment. I highly recommend.

Enclosed vs exposed?
What are the differences between enclosed and exposed? Different applications?
Thanks for contacting RIDGID! Ultimately, the terms are speaking about the ratcheting mechanism itself (ie the handle). They are all used in similar applications, but they have different max capacities that are available. Please contact our technical services at 800-519-3456 for a more detailed explanation on the differences if you need more information
