I have a Collins 66A Threader and the manual requires sulphur based cuttin/threading oils. Your threading oils donot list sulphur as a content

Are your oils OK to use in our Threader? Thanks
Asked by: snoop
Hello! Thank you for your question. Our oils do contain a percentage of sulfur. As for the use in a Collins 66A Threader, we cannot make that determination.

Nu-Clear compatible with Dark?

I have a pipe machine that has Nu-Clear oil in it and I was curios if I could put the Dark oil in it without a compatibility problem. Do I need to drain the Nu-Clear first?
Asked by: SEMOEE06
Thanks for contacting RIDGID! We recommend that the oil that was previously used (Nu-clear in this case) be drained before adding the new and different type of oil. Please let us know if you have any questions.

What type of cutting oil should be used to thread aluminum pipe?

Asked by: RonVT
Thanks for contacting RIDGID. My apologies, we do not make threading oil specific for aluminum due to us not making dies specifically for threading aluminum. The gentlemen in the field tend to use what they are most comfortable with when threading aluminum and their other types of pipe. If you have further questions please feel free to contact our technical support agents at 800-519-3456. Thank you for your patronage and for choosing RIDGID.
