Have an older model WD 1200 shop vac.

Bought bags that say fit 12-16 gal. However inside the vac there is no way to slide the bag on any thing on the inside. Hose fits flush to the inside of the vaccum. Nothing protrudes inside to slip the bag onto. Is there any accessories you make to fit these bags to an older vac?

Thank you for contacting RIDGID. We regret to inform you that your WD1200 was not designed to have a filter bag. We also do not have a fix to attach the filter bags to the older models. is there High-Efficiency Dust Bags for the VF4200 ridgid filters

In our woodshop we go thru vacuum filters like water over a dam. We have 7 shop vac all which use the VF4200 filter. With 55 members it does not take long to fill the vacuums and clog the filter. I can tell you none of us enjoy cleaning the wood chips out of the filters. We need a means to let the saw dust goes thru a filter cover but not the wood chips. So any advice you can give would be very welcomed. The filter work great but the clogging does not. We have individual vacuums on the smaller power tools and 2 outside vacuum systems that handle the bigger power tools, such our 20 inch planner and router stations
