- Students that earn the Manual and Hand-Held Power Threading certification will understand the applications of various threads used in industry as well as demonstrate their ability to safely use manual and hand-held portable power threading equipment to cut, ream, thread and ultimately join multiple pipes together through hands-on lab activities.
POWER MACHINE THREADING LAB
POWER MACHINE THREADING LAB
- Students that earn the Power Machine Threading certification will understand and be able to demonstrate the safe and proper use of manual and powered roll grooving equipment to make fluid-tight connections as used in fire protection and other HVAC applications through the completion of hands-on lab activities in the classroom.
PRESSING FOR HVAC AND PLUMBING LAB

- Students that earn the Pressing for HVAC and Plumbing certification will understand and be able to demonstrate the safe operation of manual and battery-powered pressing tools to fabricate fluid circuit connections in copper and PEX tubing through the completion of hands-on lab activities in the classroom.
