Ridge Tool’s Repair & Disposal Policy



The RIDGID Factory Service Center has trained technicians to quickly and accurately evaluate tools returned to the factory for service. If during Ridge Tool Company’s (“Ridge”) evaluation Ridge determines the tool is covered under the RIDGID Warranty, the tool will be repaired and returned at no charge.

If service is required for any reason other than a defect in material or workmanship, a Ridge proposal for the repair costs or Ridge’s inability to repair (“Proposal”) will be provided to you.

By seeking Ridge services to repair your tool(s) or tools legally in your possession, you agree Ridge reserves the right to dispose of the tool(s) valued at $500 or less after reasonable attempts are made to contact you within a sixty (60) day time period regarding your interest in proceeding with Ridge’s Proposal. The sixty (60) day time period starts the day Ridge provides Proposal.

You agree if you do not provide a response after the sixty (60) day time period to Ridge’s reasonable electronic attempts to contact you regarding the acceptance or rejection of the Ridge’s Proposal, Ridge is not responsible for the tool(s) thereafter and may dispose of the tool(s) as Ridge sees fit, including but not limited to throwing away the tool(s).

RIDGE IS NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGES TO THE OWNER OF THE TOOLS DISPOSED OF IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS POLICY. YOU AGREE TO RELEASE RIDGE FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, COSTS, EXPENSES, ATTORNEY FEES, LIABILITY, AND DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE DISPOSITION OF TOOL(S) UNDER THIS POLICY.
