RIDGID Tool Repair & Disposal Policy

The Professional Tools’ Factory Service Centers, located in Rockford, IL and Elyria, OH, have trained technicians to quickly and accurately evaluate RIDGID and Greenlee tools returned to the factory for service. If during Professional Tools’ evaluation Professional Tools determines the repair is covered under the particular tool model’s corresponding RIDGID Warranty or Greenlee Warranty, the tool will be repaired and returned at no charge.

 

If service is required for any reason other than a defect in material or workmanship covered by Professional Tools’ RIDGID Warranty or Greenlee Warranty, and/or pre-approval has not been provided in advance, a Professional Tools proposal for the repair costs or Professional Tools’ inability to repair (“Proposal”) will be provided to you.  To provide Professional Tools’ customers with the best repair experience, it is important that you respond promptly to the Proposal.

 

By submitting tool(s) to Professional Tools for repair services, you agree and accept Professional Tools’ Repair & Disposal Policy that Professional Tools reserves the right to dispose of the tool(s) valued at $ 5,000 or less after five (5) reasonable attempts are made to contact you within a thirty (30) day time period regarding your interest in proceeding with Professional Tools’ Proposal. The thirty (30) day time period starts the day Professional Tools provides Proposal.  Tool(s) valued at greater than $ 5,000 will be returned to you at the address provided on your tool’s RMA case number.

 

You agree if you do not provide a response within the thirty (30) day time period to Professional Tools’ reasonable electronic attempts to contact you regarding the acceptance or rejection of the Professional Tools’ Proposal,  Professional Tools is not responsible for the tool(s) thereafter and may dispose of the tool(s) as Professional Tools sees fit, including but not limited to scrapping or recycling all parts of the tool(s), as well as any other tool(s), parts, accessories, and consumables included in the shipment of the tool(s) to the Factory Service Center.

 

YOU AGREE PROFESSIONAL TOOLS IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE TOOL(S) AND ANY OTHER PARTS, ACCESSORIES AND CONSUMABLES INCLUDED IN THE SHIPMENT TO THE FACTORY SERVICE CENTER THAT ARE DISPOSED OF IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS POLICY. YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND RELEASE PROFESSIONAL TOOLS FOR AND FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, COSTS, EXPENSES, ATTORNEY FEES, LIABILITY, AND DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE DISPOSAL OF TOOL(S), PARTS, ACCESSORIES AND CONSUMABLES UNDER THIS POLICY.
