Rated 5 out of 5 by from JUST BUY IT Dont waste your time hem and hawing deciding to buy this or not. Just buy it, you will be glad you did. Hose is suprisingly heavy duty and well made. Body is also very durable. Would do just fine in the back of a truck on 10 miles of bad road. The cover for the battery compartment is a little flimsy but as long as you close it correctly its plenty durable due to the shape and fitting. Would have been nice to have some attachment storage and a place to organize the hose to the exterior. For 80 bucks i believe its a great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product works amazingly.. a fully charged battery doesn't last that long but it does what you would need a small cordless vac to do. It only needs a carrying case for attachments. Something to carry them and the attachments would be great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but very expensive! 99$ + tx = 115$. Very expensive for a vacuum that has no batteries and no charger. It also came free when you buy the combo of a drill and screwdriver (like a drill). This would have been a better deal but I had previously bought that combo a couple of year a go. So I have this vacuum for a week now. I does what it is suppose to do. I find the system of emptying the vacuum kind of complicated. RIDGID should make a bracket to hang the vacuum on the wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great Used it a couple of times it has pretty good power for being cordless. Works pretty good as a blower also. Hope it works for a water spill that's the main reason I purchased it. When I get to use it for water I will update the review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Could use more power. This is a great tool if you're looking to clean up small loose messes but it lacks power to clean up a large mess. The suction is not great but sufficient. Drywall dust is easily cleaned. It is very portable and convenient to have if space is limited or outlets are hard to come by. I do recommend this for anyone who has a small mess or spill but if you have heavy debris or wood chips you might look into a stronger vacuum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Lightweight Vac This is a great product, just wish it had a better on board storage for the hose. This is nice and lightweight so if you need to carry it around or move it , it will be a breeze. I use 2 extension wands whenever I want to carry it and collect stuff from the floor. It beats bending down. Great product. Your best bet is to go with the big batteries if you want to use it for long periods of time 4ah , 5ah. Even with those batteries attached it is still light enough to hold as you use it and move around

Is the 18v cordless vac eligible for the Lifetime Service Agreement?

I recently purchased the cordless vac, and it very clearly states LSA eligible on the box. I am familiar with registering products for the LSA, and all of my other tools, once registered, show the warranty status. However once I registered the vac, (which incidentally required a separate login), there was no mention of the LSA. Please clarify.
Asked by: Derrick
I spoke with a Ridgid representative, and I was told that certain tools have different warranty registration, the cordless vac comes with life time warranty , no LSA needed.

Low battery ?

I just purchased this vacum . I own 4 Ridgid 18volt Lithium batteries. 3, 2.0 AmH and one 4.0 AmH . I tried the 4.0 one first and after exactly 5 minutes ( not complaining at all about run time ) it started to go on and off . I figured if it was dying it would get weak then just shut off. I then tried a 2.0 AmH battery and after a while ( I didn't time this one) it gradually got weaker lower and gradually shut off. So is this normal for the vacum ? I called Ridgid they said they didn't know if the batteries could do that and recommended I return. Thank you for any help .
