4.5 Gallon ProPack® Portable Wet/Dry Vac is rated out of 5 by 125.
Rated 5 out of 5 by CheriinMississippi from Awesome and compact This is a great little vac. It is well designed and keeps all tools on board in little hideaways with the extension tubes go on the back. The suction is better than my house vac. The hose could be a bit bigger to suction up larger pieces of debris but no big deal. I did go back and order the hepa filter that traps more of the fine debris, the wet filter and a set of 2 bags that bypass filter. It is easy to carry and takes up little room for storage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Grover439 from Great features in a compact package I love the design of this vac and how compact it is...what it lacks in size and power is made up for by its unique design. Having all parts self contained in a "tool box" design has made carting around a vac much easier. I only wish that the hose was a little longer and extended easier...all in all it's the best fit for my application.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ghostrider from Perfect and convenient This shop vac has all the power of the large roll around types but in a small convenient size. I'm a construction worker and I was surprised and vert happy with it and take it with me all the time to clean up after I'm done working. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a compact yet powerful shop vac.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Salvatorepaul from This vac has everything I've been searching for. . This is the most inovative vac I've ever used.. maybe a rubber gasket seal between the vac head and canister to get a little more out of it..

Rated 4 out of 5 by gowings from Lots of power I bought the Ridgid vac for my company contractor business. Since the 14 gal Ridgid I have is big and bulky for small job clean up. I wanted something more portable. Pros 1. lots of suction 2. tool storage inside the unit is a big plus 3. long power cord Cons Its extremely noisey

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cliffminnesota from Some problems but excellent overall I have been using this wet/dry vac for a few weeks and I think it's good but there are a few parts of it that need work. *the kids clasps on the sides are terrible. They feel like they will break at any moment. *The holder for the pipes on the back needs a better attachment than clips. It gets knocked around and they won't stay on. A self tapping screw fixes this. Other than these issues it's powerful, compact, has many options for filters and attachments and lifetime warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TrailsUnlimited from Rugged and self contained All in all great product. Only comment is the latches on the ends don't work very well you kinda have to pull the end compartments by force. You can't just push in and the open. the other comment would be to make it clamp-able to your Ridgid roll a round containers/ tool boxes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RussOR from Almost Perfect First off—the ProPack vac is awesome. I heartily recommend it and I would buy it again. It's powerful, reasonably light, and having a work vac that isn't round and awkward is brilliant! That said, there are two small improvements I would love to see Ridgid make: 1. The clips that hold a couple of the attachments on the outside are fairly dreadful. They're difficult to get in and just don't want to stay in place. I do appreciate that the clip is removable to keep the clean profile of the rectangular box, but there must be a little better engineering involved to keep the clip in place when you want it there. 2. I'm pretty sure this is the first work vac I've owned that doesn't have wheels. It's light enough that it isn't a huge issue to—literally—drag it hither and yon, but I'd love to see some low-profile, partially-recessed wheels built into the bottom. Even if they weren't on 360-degree casters, it would help having a little more ease of movement. Finally, I end as I began: I heartily recommend this vacuum and I would buy it again.

Can use this vacuum to clean a COLD pallet stove.
I am wondering if I can use this vacuum to clean my pellet stove when the ashes are totally cold. Do I need an additional filter or do they have a specific filter for cleaning ashes?
I used this vac to clean our wood stove and it did a steller job. Of coarse the ash was stone cold and the filter had to be cleaned after the job to restore the vacs pickup power. I used a stiff brush to clean the filter and the fine ash that clong to the intierior of the drum.

I would like to know which of your wet/dry vacuums have the Scroll Noise Reduction built in.
I already have two of the large vacuums, but am looking for a smaller portable with the Scroll Noise Reduction built in. It isn't always clear from the website which ones have it, so I would like to know for sure. Thank you
These two answers to my original question make no sense. The description of this vacuum above clearly states under "Features" that this model has Scroll Noise Reduction. That is item #7. So, it would appear that this model does have the Scroll Noise Reduction feature. While waiting for an answer, I went ahead and ordered, and received, this vacuum. Based on the amount of noise it makes, or rather doesn't make, I would say that it does indeed have the Scroll Noise Reduction. It is relatively quiet for such a powerful vacuum. As I intend to use it in public places, that is important to me. I am rather disappointed in the inaccuracy of the previous answers, and am glad I didn't wait to make a purchasing decision based on their information.

Is it possible to order a replacement Superflex hose?
My Superflex hose has cracked and broken, and the replacement hoses are not flexible enough to fit in the tool storage compartment.
My unit is new so mine has not cracked. That is a shame the replacement hose does not package into the side since to me that is one of the major advantageous of this unit.
