Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best vacuums on the market, great product!!! I do HVAC for a living, always using a shop vac for water leaks or cleaning inside of condensers. This vac pro forms flawlessly every time. Rugged construction, easy to use , and very powerful. What more can you ask for in a shop vac. Great product keep up the good work!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for all my needs I am very pleased with this vac. It is small enough and light enough for me to use in small spaces, and carry around with no problem. It has good suction and very compact for storage. One of the handiest features is the hole in the handle that I can put the attachment/hose into and get it out of the way temporarily, instead of dropping it on the ground and tripping over it. I highly recommend this product for home use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4 Gallon Portable Wet/Dry Vac 4 Gallon Portable Wet/Dry Vac is powerful for its size. It rolls around, nicely, but I'd like the hose to be a little longer, since I use it to clean places near the ceiling, otherwise, the attachments work well. The customer service was great, the company lives up to its guarantee.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from WD40700 quit working after using 3 times We bought this shop vac because we liked the size and power. It worked great for vacuuming out our vehicles until it quit. We also bought it because of the lifetime warranty, which is a good selling feature. When it broke we found out there is no place to take the unit for repairs, we had to mail it to Missouri! The postage was $35.55! This seems unreasonable to expect the customer to pay the shipping on an product that is less than 1 year old! A new unit cost $79.99 at Home Depot. This is poor customer service, terrible quality and too much effort for a customer to go through to claim on a lifetime warranty. As instructed we have mailed the power head back to Missouri and are keeping our hopes high it will be repaired or replaced and we will have no further issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Vac! Moved up from 2.5hp shopvac vac/blower with 1 1/4 hose after 10 yrs. Rigid has more power, doesn't clog up, harder to kink hose, quieter, doesn't tip over, follows me around without a fight, really long built in cord, cord and hose rap around vac tight for transport, pipes and some attachments store in bin at back and on top, light weight. A little pricey for size but this is out-weighed by power, portability, relative quietness and ease of use. Used for dry pickup only.

Seeing as there is no foam filter with this unit, will it damage the vacuum to remove the filter for vacuuming up liquid?

Asked by: Timj
Absolutely! There must be a foam filter on the unit when vacuuming up liquids to prevent debris from getting in to the impeller.

replacement / different filters

it seems like all the filters you sell are for the larger vacs, are there any filters available to purchase for this vacuum if we need to replace the stock one or want a different filter? thanks

How often do I need to change the filter?

I have been cleaning out the ducs in my house and the one I got with the machine today already looks very dirty.
Asked by: bama97202
not sure, I use the bags for dry pick up only and the filter stays clean. You can feel the bag to see if getting full. For filter, suggest once a year if you use it to clean air ducts only...doesn't sound like you use it a lot. filters can last a long time and look like they are very dirty. You can take the filter off and tap it inside a garbage bag and run fingers over the filter to get some dirt, dust cobwebs off.

How do you clean the power head

and after removing the filler I noticed that a good amount of dust collects around the filler . I believe this happens when a bag is not used. In which I plan to do. I'm new to the product this will be my first time using it, being so Ied like to clean it thoroughly, for I'll be using inside my house.
Asked by: Donarp
Unless you are using it as a wet vac make sure to use a clean filter that is properly installed, (it's simple), and if need be wipe down the motor housing with a damp, not wet, cloth with the unit unplugged.

Did I get a dud?

I have had this unit for a very short time with light use......partly because I cant get to suck anything. I purchased to suck up water from when my washer leaked and it picked up nothing.....also when trying to suck up dry materials. it wouldn't even pick up a penny off the floor...Am I doing something wrong? When I remove the hose the suction is very strong...but when the hose is attached the suction is very poor...
Asked by: JenniferCordova
Check your hose for a blockage. I just checked mine and it easily sucks up quarters off the floor.
