Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact but powerful. Easy to use and portability is great when compared to my shop vac.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big product in a small package The suction on this little unit is extraordinary, easy to clean out and incredibly light weight. Used by a pro for construction sight clean up, highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The product is poorly designed for storage when not in use. The extension pieces, attachments, hose and cord are hard to contain for storage. The power on switch could be of better size or positioning so it could be turned on or off with out the use of a finger tip. For the price it was a good purchase and has functioned as needed to the degree needed to date.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wish I would have bought sooner. My first review. Only been using it for a couple weeks, but works great so far. Dust collection works great when hooked up to my cyclone/shop vac dust extractor. Also wanted to mention that I had no problems registering this for the lifetime warranty, despite what others have said. Soft start is really nice, and variable speed is a bonus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a great vac - it moves around easy and the suction is great! However, after only 2 weeks of limited use the hose has distorted!??? The hose appears to be melted or distorted - maybe the suction is stronger than the hose? It's a great vac, but need a hose that will last! I've purchased the 14' longer one to do extended cleaning, but haven't started using it yet, as I may decide to return it. Have ordered extra attachments - think they will make the vac even more handy - but the hose may be the weak link?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small yet powerful I'm a homeowner / do-it-yourselfer. Therefore, this smaller size vac is perfect for me. Power was my first consideration and this machine offers plenty. I've used it for both dry and wet clean-ups. I appreciate that this came with accessories, although I find that the fastening mechanisms for the hose extenders leaves a bit to be desired. Sometimes they become detached during use. Perhaps a sturdier fastener could be considered for future units. On the whole, I'm very happy with this machine.

How often do I need to change the filter?

I have been cleaning out the ducs in my house and the one I got with the machine today already looks very dirty.
Asked by: bama97202
Take it outside to a trash can and bang the dirt out. Once you have done that, shoot air from your air compressor or the blow feature on the vacuum from the middle of the filter towards the outside and clean it some more. Continue using. If torn or damaged, replace.

replacement / different filters

it seems like all the filters you sell are for the larger vacs, are there any filters available to purchase for this vacuum if we need to replace the stock one or want a different filter? thanks
Asked by: seracg
I bought the bag filter to put in mine for using in the house for cleaning up ashes from the wood stove slips on easily two in a pack .seams to work better than just the round filter a little less suction though because you are using two filters .

How do you clean the power head

and after removing the filler I noticed that a good amount of dust collects around the filler . I believe this happens when a bag is not used. In which I plan to do. I'm new to the product this will be my first time using it, being so Ied like to clean it thoroughly, for I'll be using inside my house.
Asked by: Donarp
Unless you are using it as a wet vac make sure to use a clean filter that is properly installed, (it's simple), and if need be wipe down the motor housing with a damp, not wet, cloth with the unit unplugged.

Pressure

If a airwatts are 0.117354 * (CFM) * (inches water), then do I calculate correctly that this model no. WD4070 will lift water 12.9 inches high? 167 watts * (1/0.117354) * (1/110 CFM) = 12.9 inches water I feel like that number is way too low - I'm sure your product lifts water more than 1 foot high! I may have the calculation wrong or the pressure may be specified another way. What do the units of "G/h" mean? Thank you for the help.
Asked by: Jacob
Jacob, I agree with your calculations, the thing to remember is this is a fan, not a positive displacement pump or vacuum, meaning there is a lot of slip. When you essentially stall the fan, by trying to pull up a column or water, it will start to spin and not pull any more. Now if you allow air to remain flowing in the hose it will draw water or other material along with the moving air in the hose to a much higher height.
