Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 192 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall a pretty good value for the money The shop vac itself works great and I would have given it a higher score, but the quality of the hose is terrible. That hard plastic that it's made out of seems just like all the rest of the shop vacs out there. Cheap. I expect more from Ridgid from a quality standpoint. And really, how much extra would it cost for a better quality hose? I know you'll sell me a higher quality hose for $37, but I don't think it would cost you that much to include it. Also if you're the only brand that would have a nice quality hose included, I think you'd sell more of these. My opinion only. May 1, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Hate it. The worst thing is that the lid doesn't fit tight. Every time you pick up the vac to move it, dust flies out. We returned it and got a smaller model with a lid that clips on. April 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Returning customer Had 2 "shop vacs" worked fine but filter replacement was less than marginal (several years old). Bought a "Rigid" for general (wet/dry) home use. Worked so good I bought a smaller one for cleaning my cars. Both use the same cartridge filter (not flat foldable filters). Excellent vac. April 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to use Nice vacuum and easy use, nice price and like the accessories April 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Compact very light weight and powerful suction. So far so good. It's been very helpful in my little job site. April 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is my second Rigid - one for each of my homes and it's the best on the market, bar none. This is my second Rigid wet/dry vac and its not because the first one broke, rather because the first one is working so well after fifteen years that I decided to buy a second one for my vacation home. Take my advice and buy one...I have friends that literally use them for their home vacuum cleaner (and blower capable too) and just love them. Lastly, break down and buy the brush and blade attachment. You will use them infinitely more than you think. April 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a great cheap shop vac I have 4 ridgid vacs and love them all. This is the least powerful of them but still has a powerful suction. The hoses are kinda stiff and not the best overall but i do love the 1 7/8 diameter, plus its always upgradable. Ridgid makes some great equipment, i was leary at first but over time my aresenal of tools has gone from bosch blue and makita aqua colors to ridgid orange!!! April 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by saved us - impressed We had a water problem and our old wet dry vac just couldn't do the job anymore. We ran to Home Depot and picked up this model that happened to be on sale. It sucked up the water really well so I imagine it will work just as well for other jobs. The hose worked fine but didn't feel as well built as the rest of the unit so I do wonder about it's durability long term. All in all it's a fantastic product so far and I'd recommend it April 8, 2016

Answer:
It's pretty quiet compared to the suction power it has. I've used it mainly inside my garage and am satisfied with the noise level.

Answer:
For a shop vac it is relatively quiet. I use mine regularly and have no problems with the sound. There is also a muffler available as an accessory.

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in RIDGID!

The 9 gallon vacs do not have a drain. The vacs that have a drain on the bottom part of the drum are 12 gallons or larger.

If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to call us at 1-800-4-RIDGID (1-800- 474-3443).
