Fuego Compact Orbital Jig Saw clasificado de 5 por 4927.
Rated 3 de 5 por Seagraves de There are better units I used this tool for the first time this morning. The non-marring base is not good. It does mar the surface. Also, the base is so soft I gouged it from the surface I was cutting (1/16" steel). The quick change blade is good. I don't like the adjustable base. It does not have positive notches to find the preset angles. Once I set the saw at 0°, the vibration of the saw caused the base to loosen and change the angle. That messed up my work piece. Nope; don't buy this one folks. I have a Bosch that serves me well.

Rated 1 de 5 por fatcobra8321 de Would not Recommend this First, I would like to say that I am a Ridgid fan, most of the power tools that I own are ridged brand, love their stuff. This jig saw.... lets just be honest.... this jig saw is terrible compared to other jig saws available on the market. I see the response from Ridgid on the other comments. I think you guys need to just admit that this tool isn't as good as most of your products. I just hope that instead of "standing behind your product" you (Ridgid) will take the feedback as constructive criticism and redesign the jig saw. Remember the point of feedback is to identify weak areas and make improvements.

Rated 1 de 5 por tkhandy de Why no variable speed ??? I own many Ridgid products and was all set to buy this one but (and I can't believe other users haven't mentioned this) it doesn't have variable speed - virtually everyone has variable speed as standard, how can you cut a variety of materials without it? - hopefully this is in the works as I can't buy until you have it, can you advise status on this ??

Rated 1 de 5 por 21Don21 de Spend the extra money on a DeWalt I will start off by saying this, for thin material (less than 1/8"), it works great. For anything thicker it is completely useless due to the shoe not staying locked in the 90 degree setting regardless of how tight I turn the set screw. After reading the reviews, I see this is a common complaint. After reading the replies to the reviews, I do not expect anything to be done since I foolishly did not cut anything thicker than paneling until after 90 days had passed. I will continue to use my 1/4" impact driver (fantastic tool) and use more caution in the future when selecting Ridgid tools.

Rated 1 de 5 por mawds87 de A disapoinment I have quite a few ridged tools that I'm completely satisfied with , so I bought this saw without doing any research, trusting that it would be of the same quality. I'm not happy with it at all. The blade is set back so far, it's nearly impossible to follow a line. The LED lighting illuminates the work way to far ahead of the blade. The degree marks to zero the angle of the shoe is blocked by the handle. All together, a poor design. It will be gathering dust under my workbench while my new dewalt saw does the work. The only redeeming quality of this tool was the price, and after using it , that was too high as well. I hadn't used it until it was past the 90 days, so I'm stuck with it. A total disappointment.

Rated 3 de 5 por rjayabbey de unhappy with jigsaw I would fist like to add I own alot of rigid tools everything from table saw to cordless tools but the jigsaw not only needs a Allen key to adjust the base but will move if you don't tighten it with alot of force. The blade is almost hidden by the body of the jigsaw so cutting from over top of the jigsaw is akward bc you need to lean far forward or to the side. I am very happy with Rigid products but u was sk disappointed with the jigsaw I threw it in the garbage in front of my whole crew and I just bought it yesterday. Home depot doesn't carry the cordless in store and would need to buy it online and well I'm not sure if I should bother. I would love to be able to test new rigid products as a tester since I work with them everyday. 3 things I would change on this jigsaw 1. Base needs to lock solid without an Allen key like your cordless skillsaw ... it's very easy and convenient. 2. You use a jigsaw because you need to make precise cuts and curves and if I can't see the blade then it's useless I have to either make a high bench for the one tool or be on an akward angle forward or the side and 3. It collects too much sawdust in front of the cut having exaust from the motor or a blower of some kind to clear the sawdust would be helpful. I am also aware you have great service and exchange program at home depot and I know I could return it. I have 0 time for poorly made products or to spend time to exchange them I have a bussiness and crew to run. I really hope that you make changes to the jigsaw and I'll keep with the Rigid brand.

Rated 1 de 5 por farmmom de Ridgid Jig saw My husband purchased a Ridgid jig saw for me. I find it very awkward to use. The plate does not lock in the 0 position and it is hard to find. It is hard to find the correct angle if I want to move it. It does not have a finger off and on switch. This is my biggest complaint. I feel it is a safety issue to have the off/on switch at the top of the saw. It is very awkward to cut the board, hold the saw and turn it off. The grip is huge, of course I am a lady so I do not have big man hands.
