Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is an AWESOME stand I bought this stand after serious research of other like products. Overall, this stand is the best in design, functionality and value. The large wheels are a great feature, makes moving around in rough terrain easy and safe. Provides a stable and safe working area. The sturdy design is much better than other stands I inspected while doing my research. The price ($99.00 during Home Depot's Black Friday sale) was AWESOME My only issue is the lack of affordable extra saw mounts. I bought it to use with my Ridgit 13 inch planer (model R4331) which I mounted on an 18" x 24" base. For ease of use, I mounted the saw brackets on this unit, but I would like at least on additional set of brackets. Unfortunately, it is cheaper to by the entire stand than a set of brackets! Another feature I'd like to see in the future is a built-in power strip.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Outward supports need to be dual tubes meaning front and back overall it is a good piece of equipment however the supports are week. maybe the supports could have front and back tubes that slide out

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing-don't buy it I'm a contractor of many years. This stand is a disappointment. The large wheels work well over stairs. I have a 10" Makita sliding miter compound chop saw mounted to it. It is very difficult to unfold with the weight of my saw. The biggest disappointment is the extending support arms are just too flimsy. They droop when I put a 3/4" thick piece of decking on them. The vertical support piece attaches off center to the round tube that the wood rest directly on top of. As the support arm bends downward, the support twists which results in the wood sliding off the rest. A very terrible design. Did they even try this stand before they went into production? This essentially makes this product a good transport cart but not a good work stand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Although bounding back and forth from English text to pictures on back of page, Once I figured it out all worked well I purchased the MS-UV stand to place my new R4516 table saw onto it. Sadly, the mounting feet at the bottom of the table saw are wider than the holes in the two sliding brackets upon which the saw is mounted. Would anyone know how to get this to work please?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from initial review of assembly Not too sure why there are all the complaints about the assembly instructions... other than having to flip from the written English instructions back to the common pictures a few times, the step-by-step directions were easy to follow. I have a generic 10" sliding compound miter saw and it mounted easily to the brackets and rides well on the stand and I cane move the entire saw from right to left on the stand as needed. I'll be putting this to the test over the next few months working in my garage / shop as well as travelling with the unit to job sites. I'll follow up with comments after I've used it enough to realistically comment on it. For now, I'll be looking for another set or two of brackets so I can swap tools as needed. All in all, seems to be a sturdy little fold up stand. Just what I needed for the small shop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome to move around. I'm getting this for Christmas 2015 I put it together in about 40mins the only issue I ran into was that the Illustrations could have been a little bigger to identify the bolts and nuts. With enough common sense and knowledge you'll have no problem. I love it......AWESOME.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from NO INSIGHT First let me tell you that I have the AC9944 miter table and just love it. With that said, I bought the AC9945 for the price of $99.99 + tax. The miter utility Vehicle is awesome and performs to standards except for the cheap (000999131701 Saw Mounting Bracket Assembly. First the instructions say to place some sort of platform between the tool and the mounting brackets….. Really!!!!!!!!! That is because they are cheaply made “and will bend”. Another flaw is that ridgid could not make the table 2” wider to accommodate my other mounting brackets which means, I have to buy yet more mounting brackets and do a change over on my other ridgid power tools if I want to utilize this very nice miter saw stand. I hope with all sincerity that this was just an over sight on the team and not a got you move to sell more accessories. I have purchased numerous Ridgid power tool and have never had an issue until now and this is the reason I cannot give an overall 5 rating.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Missing parts, horrible instructions The stand itself is great, but packaging could be way better. Parts were thrown in the box loosely. Nuts and bolts were missing. The Operator's Manual is horrible. Text on the first few pages, but the sketches are in the back?

Why do the mounting brackets for this stand not work with the 12" compound miter saw?

I have the 12" compound miter saw and first off, the assembly instructions are the absolute worst I have ever seen. Why would the written instructions be in the front, and then the diagrams in the back of the book? That means you constant have to flip back and forth. Second, the parts list couldn't be more unclear. All metric, with no picture so show what bolt, nut, etc... is being referenced. Third, the clamping brackets that go on the top of the stand do not work with the 12" compound miter saw. WHAT!?!? The back slots will allow you to insert the bolts, but the front ones don't because of the locking mechanism on the clamps.. The instructions say to you "1/2" material or greater and mount that to the brackets, then mount the saw to the material." REALLY!? Are you serious? So I have to go buy plywood to make this work? That is unacceptable. If this issue hasn't been addressed it should, because this is a horrible design flaw with a half-hearted attempt for a fix. Finally, I am missing parts from my kit. How would I go about getting them? How would I know what to call the part that I am missing since there is no picture accurately showing what the parts look like. I guess you could say I need a "dome top nut". The one that is used to secure the foot pad. I have to say, this stand is a huge disappointment and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I just mounted a 12" Dewalt compound sliding mitre saw and it was simple. It is not necessary to attach the mounts to the saw prior to attaching them to the MSUV. Here is how I did it.... 1) Place the mounting brackets on the MSUV in their approximate positions (but not locked in place) and place the saw on top of them. 2) Position the mounting brackets to line up the mounting holes on the saw base with the slots on the brackets. Just lift the side of the saw slightly to move the bracket from side to side on the MSUV. 2) Insert the rear bolts through the mounting bracket and saw base and install washers and nuts just a few threads. 3) Slide the saw toward the back of the mounting brackets so the front mounting holes on the saw base are almost clear of the bracket locking mechanism. Insert the front mounting screws and install washers and nuts finger tight. (You may have to lift the front of the saw slightly to slide the mounting screw into position.) 4) Position the saw where you want it (front to back) on the brackets and then tighten the nuts using a wrench. You can also nudge the brackets from the sides so they are as far under the sides of the saw base as they will go before tightening the nuts. 5) Saw is now attached to the mounting brackets! Just lock the brackets in place on the MSUV and you're good to go! Easy Peasy!

Would a 12" dewaltt dsw782 compound miter saw fit ridgid's mounting bracket without putting a plywood support?

Asked by: Angelo
Yes. I have the same saw and mounted it directly without a plywood support. This stand makes it easy to move and set up the saw. I have included easy mounting instructions as an answer to another question on this forum.

Missing parts

I bought this utility vehicle from a vendor at Amazon, unfortunately it came with two missing parts and the vendor doesn't have them. I am attaching picture of the missing parts. They are one number handle bar and one number plastic foot pad. How do I get those?
Asked by: Mujib
If it were me I would first try the customer service number, if that doesn't work I would try my nearest Ridgid service shop and if I still had no luck I would send the stand back to the company I purchased it from.

Where can I get the operators manual or assembly instructions for this stand?

Purchased this stand and no assembly instructions or operators manual in the box. Searched the entire website for a printable download and couldn't find one. Went back to home depot and the sales person there was completely useless!!! I need this information as soon a possible please!!
Asked by: paul
If you have experience assembling anything this should be very self explanatory, I didn't have an instruction manual with mine and was able to look at the picture and go by process of elimination for the 3 things I really couldn't tell what was what on the picture in about 30 minutes.
