Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool I do a lot of trim work and the nature stuff and this nailer has been a great one. It feels good in the hand and just plain works evertime. It's really well built and has held up to my workshop abuse. I've shot thousands of brads through it and haven't shot a blank yet. I recommend this to everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition I picked this gun up a few months ago as my other nailer has seen better days. This nailer has worked great for me. It does what it's supposed to...shoots nails every time. I like the feel of it when I grab it and that translates to more precise placement of the nails. It's a little heavy for it size but I think that's a good thing as in my mind it think it's built better. I tend to use things hard and put them away wet and this nailer has stood up to my abuse. Recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If Rambo was a contractor, he would use this nailer. This brad nailer is insane. I have all of the RIDGID nailers, and they are the best on the market. Insanely fast rapid shot without the worries of jamming or misfire. Super easy to adjust the depth on this nailer, and is very accurate. I also love how easy it is to switch between the single shot and what I like to call, full out Rambo semi automatic mode. This nailer shoots so fast that you would never be able to keep up with it. As for feel in the hands, its perfect. Very well balanced, and takes a ton of abuse. Another awesome feature about this brad nailer is you (DON'T NEED TO OIL IT!) No worries about rust, how can you go wrong with that!? One other very cool feature is the transparent loader face. You can see if you are running low on nails simply by looking. Once you are ready to reload, just pull back the clip and put more in. It quick and effortless. I won't use anything other than RIDGID nailers, and can't say enough about them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and perfectly accurate Unbelievable piece of equipment! I have been using air guns for many years now, but the simplicity and accuracy of this air gun is the best! I use and abuse all my tools in attempt to keep up with the demand of how much I need to build these days and I have seen that Ridgid is the best to keep up with the durability needed. I have used many other products out there and there seems to be small things that go wrong after 3-4 months of hard use. Having my Ridgid tool for a good amount of time, I can tell that it’s a cut above anything I’ve used or seem out there. Another reason why I’m #TeamRIDGID for life! Great design Ridgid! Keep us the great work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great nailer I do a lot of trim work and this nailer is awesome. It never jams or shoots blanks. It's easy to clean and just plain works! It's also built to last, last week I was putting in crown molding and dropped it off the ladder, picked it up and kept nailing. This thing will last my lifetime. I recommend this nailer to everyone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent, but there are better out there for equal money. I'm a professional carpenter (12 years). I used this nailer 5-6 days a week, all day, for ~4 months. First, the good stuff. The ergonomics are quite good. Comfortable in the hand, well balanced, wield it all day without fatigue. The features are plentiful well thought out and easy to use. The clear magazine cover, swivelling belt hook, exhaust location, good tip design for high vis and accuracy, included swivel fitting, oil-less; all really good stuff and well executed. The lock out is also a great feature, but failed in the execution. It's annoying not being able to shoot the last 5 nails, and makes reloading cumbersome with the extra nails remaining in the magazine. I really wanted to like this nailer, but it falls short for me, in the action, there's a lack of refinement about it. It sounds and feels clumsy, as if it slaps the nail in rather than pressing the nail in. The violence of the piston is transferred to the user and to the work piece. You don't want to use this nailer on delicate pieces such as thin or smaller MDF mouldings. It can fracture and chip your work pieces. Decent, but there are better out there for equal money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Air leak from back of tool I've had this nailer for just under 1 year and only used it a half dozen times. It worked pretty well until this past weekend when it started jamming up and leaving nails inside the gun. After pulling out nails for the second time it started leaking air out the back of the tool. In fact it will not hold pressure at all now it cannot be used at all. I didn't register the tool after buying it unfortunately. Wish I could take it back to Home Depot where I got it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great product. Excellent Brad nailer, very easy to use and lightweight. As a mechanical contractor I don't have alot of experience with carpentry tools but I'm very pleased with this tool. Has never jammed or any other problems. Seems to be a quality tool at a good price.

how often do i need to oil this nailer with it being an oil less motor. I have not oiled it yet and lately it has not been driving the nails

also what type of oil do i need and how do i oil it. Thank you.
Asked by: mudbans
This Is an oil-less nailer, as per the manufacturer's instructions, no oiling is required or recommended. A nailer that does require oil usually just uses "Air Tool Oil", can be found at hardware or auto-parts stores. If its not driving nails I would check the air pressure and the depth of drive setting. I've shot a lot of nails with mine and have never put a drop of oil in it.

Can I get a hard case

I just purchased this nailer today (no glasses included), I was hoping for a hard case like the previous model. Is one available?

Unfortunately we do not offer a hard case for this nailer. Your best bet would be looking into our storage box solutions.
