RIDGID® Adds Digital Self-Leveling to SeeSnake® Compact Camera Reels

Digital self-leveling available in mini, compact and standard reel options

ELYRIA, OHIO – July 29, 2025 – RIDGID®, a part of Emerson’s professional tools portfolio, continues to set the industry standard for diagnostic solutions, recently adding digital self-leveling to its compact line for an enhanced in-pipe experience that lets end users inspect smarter and work faster. The new SeeSnake® Compact M40 DSL and C40 DSL complement existing mini and standard options for a full range of digital self-leveling camera reels.

RIDGID’s latest high-tech innovation, digital self-leveling, completely removes a component that wears in the camera head over time. This means less maintenance, more uptime and longer-lasting performance to get in, get out and move on to the next job with confidence. In addition, digital self-leveling utilizes software to self-level the image automatically on the screen, which results in an even smoother viewing and recording experience for the end user.

“For the last 25 years, RIDGID has built a reputation as the go-to brand for the most durable sewer inspection cameras. We are always striving to continuously improve our products, and the SeeSnake cameras are no exception,” said Kyle Schutz, product manager, RIDGID for Emerson. “Digital self-leveling not only looks better on screen, but it will perform better over time by completely removing a service interval. Cameras with digital self-leveling are an investment that will save our customers money down the road.”

RIDGID camera reels with digital self-leveling:

  • NEW SeeSnake Compact M40 DSLWhen you need to power through, the M40 DSL delivers. With 131 feet of mid-stiff push cable, it’s built to navigate tough 1.5- to 8-inch lines and delivers quick, confident results - keeping you one step ahead of every challenge.

  • NEW SeeSnake Compact C40 DSLWhen space is tight, but performance can’t be compromised, the C40 DSL performs. With smooth push performance and 131 feet of mid-flex push cable, it’s your go-to for efficient residential and branch line inspections from 1.5- to 6-inch pipe.

  • SeeSnake Standard DSLWhen long runs demand extra strength, the Standard DSL steps up. Its ultra-stiff push cable handles 2- to 12-inch lines up to 325 feet with ease. It’s engineered to go the distance—so you can stay ahead of the toughest jobs.

  • SeeSnake Mini Pro – The small yet rugged Mini Pro is designed to inspect up to 200 feet of 1.5- to 8-inch pipe in residential settings with its mid-flex push cable that can navigate hard 90-degree bends. A smaller 25mm camera head also enhances maneuverability in pipe.

TruSense® technology is integrated into each camera and includes high-dynamic range (HDR) image sensors for bright, clear in-pipe imaging in difficult lighting conditions and TiltSense™ Inclinometer that gives professionals a useful indicator of the pitch of the camera in-pipe.

Each reel includes the RIDGID Lifetime Warranty.

RIDGID diagnostic solutions provide a range of options that work seamlessly together to help find, see and pinpoint exactly where a problem lies with industry-leading precision. Each is engineered to last, so no matter how many times you jam a cable down a pipe or drag a reel out of the truck, you can trust them to get the job done.
